Jumping back into skating, I visited the closest boardshop to me greenback lane. It opened at 11, said google and the sign on the door. Surf and Skate nobody around 15 minutes past. So I searched again. Found it, called it, and headed on over.
Abstract Skateboarding in Roseville.
Parking is not the easiest to find.
It depends on how lucky you are, I am lucky enough.
Upon entering, I was greeted promptly and met Chris.
I explained my goal to him.
He was extremely patient and very knowledgeable.
He let me take my time to look around. However, he understood my needs, and the first thing he showed me ended up being the board I purchased.
This is one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a while. I recommend checking this place out. I recommend all the old skaters to jump back in.
Health is wealth, and skating is fun. I bought a old school cruiser. It was a very great price.
I look forward to my next visit.

UPDATE: all assembled had a great time doing that. It skates smooth, sweet, and loving every minute of it. Chris is the man, thanks.

these guys are great and really nice dudes. I'm obviously a great big poser who sucks at skating but they still let me shop there.

should obviously be your first choice for buying skate anything in the area..go buy some stuff!

Took my 17 year old daughter here to get her set up with her 1st skateboard to learn on. The guys here were super nice and helpful! Had lots of info and recommendations and got her set up with an awesome board! I was glad to help support a smaller shop instead of the bigger standard chain skate shops. A+ service and great products at this shop!

Highly recommend supporting our local skate shop. They take a personal interest in their customers. Sean helped pick out xmas gifts for my son that really matched his vibe. So impressed that he knew so much about one of their patrons. They also supported Jake for one of his hs art projects by hosting his photography show in May. Great guys!
