WPA Rock Garden is located in William Land Regional Park, and it is a beautiful rock garden that combines rocks, walking paths, plants, and trees.

There are benches to sit, rest, and just take in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The garden attracts many different types of birds for your enjoyment.

The garden is open daily and free to enjoy. There is plenty of free parking nearby.

I've included pictures of a nearby pond and amphitheater in William Land Park.

Do yourself a favor and check out WPA Rock Garden; you will not be disappointed!

How sweet the garden embraced serenity. This is an island of pure summer delight. This delicate ecosystem is an absolute dream oasis nestled in an expansive family park with plenty of shady habits well suited for balmy summer days. Overall the entire park is quite compact with family friendly Duck Pond, Fairy Tale Town, and a zoo ( not visited). One of Sacramentoโ€™s not so secret treasures are the interconnecting parks meandering from down town through out neighborhoods, the river and burbs. The city has an impressive diversity of parks and amazing get away perks worth the price if the ticket. To say nothing of the incredible bike lanes encircling the city .

Beautiful garden in full bloom! So amazing to see all the flowers and a few hummingbirds. The poppies were popping while I was there. Not huge, maybe the size of city lot, or little bigger. Access from the park or street... I spent about 30 minutes walking around. Several people photographing the flowers in bloom.

Loved this place. Would have been a great place to have a picnic. This place was a plant lovers paradise! So many different plants to see would be nice to have name tags so one can identify but overall great!

The WRA Rock Garden is pretty with a lot of interesting plants. The garden is across the street from Fairytale Town next to the outdoor theater. Most people park along the street, but there is a slightly hidden parking lot right behind Fairytale Town with a public restroom. Some of paths that I walked along in the garden had steps and might be a little too narrow to navigate vary easily with a wheelchair. This would be a good place to take photos of nature.

Such a surprise to find this wonderful garden in the middle of the park. It's meandering, rock lined paths take you through many areas of diverse and unique flora.
It has an interesting history, beginning in the 40's, overgrown for decades, then saved in '88 and restored single-handedly by a woman, so appropriately named, Daisy.
I wish the community would get together to help Daisy: add name plates to the plants, install a rock water feature, and restore the sign to the original era.

We did one my best friends birthday photo shoot here and it was just magical. Obviously the photographer had a lot to do with that, but the pathways, plants, structures and ambiance was on point. Great for pictures, a nice evening stroll, checking out some unique plants and just being present in. Glad we have places like this in Sacramento and I hope that it stays this way.

This is a garden of love. It's being restored. There were so many different pollinators there. Interesting plant combinations & flowers in different stages.
