Don't waste your time coming here to cash a check drawn on CitiBank. If you don't have an account, they are unable to assist.

Absolutely useless is an understatement. 🤬

Citibank use to be the bank of the people. Good customer service and excellent management/tellers.

Now, especially this Citibank is completely garbage. There manager is absolutely useless! To cash a check you need your entire family, social security, ID, passport and a few stamps to just deposit a check.

I don’t know how they consider themselves as a bank if they can’t do basic banking! Avoid at all costs! Be sure to file complaint against this bank in addition to writing the review. Corporate will never read the reviews, but they get penalized if they receive complaints.

The worse customer service ever!!! The staff is just horrible. They have worse attitude, and have no people skills. I bet they all hate their jobs. I’ve never seen the staff smile or just be polite. The only reason I go here is because it’s the only Citi bank near by. But from now on I rather drive to the branch in Granada Hills. I have never been mistreated at this location, staff is wonderful. Stay away from this location the worse, they need to Fire all the staff and hire new people who are willing to work and give good customer service. Maybe give them a raise to smile and not look like they hate their job.

I've been charged a grand total of over 458 dollars in fees and service charges for this year.
I asked if I could close my account.
They said I had a checking plus credit line that had been closed for five years still open. It debits about 40 bucks a month out of my account, has for the past few years (at much larger amounts than forty.) Doesn't even give me a warning, just deducts. If the account goes overdrawn they send the phone hounds calling all my old jobs and phone numbers of my deceased parents.
I tell the tellers that I can't afford their account, but they tell me that they won't close my account and I got flipped off by the manager Jim last time I asked to talk to a manager over there.
So I ask them if they could at least stop charging me the ridiculous credit rate on my checking plus account that adds up a lot each monthly and tacks it on to my principle.
They said they couldn't help me out, that it wasn't "their department", even though they cleverly used the excuse to keep my checking account open because of the credit account, that they have no access to the credit department. Nice scam. Lovely way to show no mercy. You would think someone accepting a bailout would know better.

Worse service ever had an theft incident at the atm and they couldnt refund my money I was robbed my debt/atm card the card was used for an outrageous amount at several locations and they couldn't even provide me a curtious call to make sure the transactions were legit. Now my bills are about bounce and I have to borrow money before they bounce and the bank charges me a fee. This could have been prevented by a simple customer curtious call. The bank will not refund my money 😒.

Terrible. Knowing that customers were diverted there from other branches, they chose to have only 2 windows open. The line went all the way down the side of the building, in the hot sun, no seating. No one was allowed in until a teller was available, then they ambushed me with hand sanitizer. There was no non-chemical cleaning option and they very rudely said use it or leave. They seemed to be making it as unpleasant as possible (trying to get us to do online banking? ). Worst customer service. If you have to go there, bring your own chair and gloves, allow plenty of time.
