I visited the store this evening and bought four pairs of shoes. When I discovered that the buy one get one free deal did not apply to two of the pairs that I have purchased I asked the cashier why they have the signs on every display, it made it seem like all the shoes applied. She spoke to me like I was a child and told me that she answers the same question all day long and it’s our responsibility to read the fine print. The fact that she made the comment that she gets asked the question several times a day maybe a clue that their advertisement may be confusing for their Clientele. She could’ve simply apologized and explained but instead she decided to be rude, While consistently interrupting me, and belittling me. And then she announced she was the assistant manager, even more of her red flag. Going forward I probably won’t Shop at this location again I have two growing Boys and I buy a lot of shoes. The assistant managers name is Savannah, if you’re looking for a good customer service I probably avoid her.

Horrible service. I came in to to exchange shoes and as soon as i walked in the woman who appeared to be organizing shoes asked me what i needed and when i told her i needed to exchange shoes she rolled her eyes at me. The entire time she was trying to do the exchange she had a horrible attitude. Don't shop here.

Love Famous Footwear. Riverbank location is definitely my go to. They always have Bogos and good sales. I got these on sale for around 45 bucks.

Nothing in stock other than low quality shoes with problems. Staff is rude and laughs when you ask if they have something in your size. They have a mantra they repeat hourly, "Everything we have out is what we got."

This happens every time I visit so I don't know why I return.

When I’m looking for shoes, I come to famous footwear. I like the Riverbank store better than Modesto . The only complaint I have is this is the second time that I’ve encountered this one male manager that follows me around and makes me feel like I’m a shoplifter.

I've never been in a Famous Footwear store before. I was very pleased with the wide selection and inexpensive prices. I was so happy, I joined their rewards club on the spot. Will definitely be buying my shoes here from now on!

Always having sales and the inventory is always up to date. Usually have lots of good clearance choices as well. I'm a size 12 and they always have my size.
