Material for V2 Tactical Pants is restrictive, no stretch, and short. The next size up has been sold out in tall, so I had to size up another. In an effort to not wear overly large pants in this brand, I emailed customer service that same day asking when they'll have the size needed in stock. The response was an apology with a date, indicating that size would be available three days later. A solution wasn't offered and the oversized pants shipped. The size wasn't in stock online by the date mentioned. I emailed to ask if I could place the order via email. That resulted in another apology about the delay for availability. I had to email back to ask if I would have to pay for shipping on the return. That response from customer service was an apology and answer that I will have to pay for it, no solution or 'Return Authorization Number' which the company requires for the return process. I just had to email customer service again to specifically ask for that number because they don't offer a solution themselves. Two weeks later, they still don't have the size available. The pants fade easily and that is how I am currently wearing the brand.

Not true to size
Before purchasing these pants, I definitely too a look at the reviews. Unfortunately they where correct the pants are not true to size , and the fact that I have to come out of pocket to return these pants is very upsetting. Even if I wanted to do & exchange. This is a poor business practice. I actually wanted to exchange the pants but if I’m going to incur these additional fees I’ll honestly just choose not to do business with First Tactical.

This company deserves negative stars; not even one!!! Called prior to ordering to ask if goods were made in the good 'ol USA and was told they were. Fast forward a couple of weeks and low and behold, made in vietnam. So, the 2 orders I placed and the money I spent is now tied up for a month on end where their customer service reps make promises but never deliver on getting me a refund. According to them, the refund to my payment method "wouldn't process" so they may have to cut and mail me a check for the refund. Seriously, since in my entire adult life I've never had a refund that "wouldn't process"?!! Steer clear of this commie company and their underhanded processes and buy milsurp or something else. Apparently, their head dude used to be a 5.11 but they probably kicked his dumba$$ out of the company and now he's just a hack that runs a hack company.

I got my first pair of First Tactical V2 shorts and I am impressed with the quality in the stitching and the fabric. The quality of fabric looks and feels better than 5.11 I really like the way they fit too.You can not go wrong with First Tactical gear. They have an edge on 5.11 because of price point and same or better quality than 5.11
