Amazing Experience! My wife and I were recently tattooed by Tala at Shanghai Tattoo and I can’t recommend the experience enough!
When I called to discuss my design, I was scheduled for consultation quickly.
This part of the process was really good for me as Tala and Ms Ting discussed details of putting my ideas on my body.
The actual experience getting tattooed was even better. Tala, does quick, clean very professional work while bringing your idea to life. I’m very happy with my new tattoo and my wife’s!

Highly recommend going to ms. Ting,my wife has gotten multiple tattoos from her and we get stopped almost everywhere we go so people can admire and complement her tattoos. There professional and very caring on how they treat there clients. If you want real art and not just another tattoo stop by! She gets booked for up to a year in advance but it's 100% worth the wait and every penny you spend!

Ting and her husband Josh took real good care of me. The team here at Shanghai Tattoo was patient and flexible insuring I got exactly what I asked for. I initially went in for a consultation and described what I was looking for bringing references to Ms. Ting. She wasted no time picking the perfect artist for the job @tattoobytala (ig) who studied the references briefly and custom designed my piece using his own style and expertise. Prior to the first session I had the opportunity to review the design and modify as needed. Tala is a master tattoo artist and his work is beautiful. He has a very soft touch, very precise.

These guys are fun to hang out with and I enjoyed the whole experience. Spent about 20 hours on my back in 4 sessions with a 2 week break for healing after first session which was the lining. The time flew by. Will be returning for more tattoos.

Shanghai Tattoo is the absolute BEST! From customer service to quality of work. Josh up front is the friendliest and always super helpful when booking appointments and answering questions. I saw Ting for a pretty good size tattoo and she drafted up the design really quickly with great understanding of exactly what I wanted. I had some ideas of placement that wouldn’t work with how my leg bends, it would have distorted the image. She was able to create the look and placement I wanted with a few modifications that make it look perfect even when my leg is bent which is very hard to accomplish. She killed it.
She works quickly and uses perfect heaviness with her tattooing machine. She is incredibly talented and made me feel really comfortable the whole time.

The amount of respect and kindness I received from everyone in this shop is unmatched. I recommend Shanghai to anyone looking for a quality tattoo by amazing people. My favorite is Ting but I’ve followed the shop for years and they don’t have any bad artists come through so I would trust anyone in the shop with my next piece. If I could give more than stars I would!

This was my first tattoo and I searched for years to find an artist who truly understood the concepts of Asian traditional art. Ms. Ting is so skilled and such a cool person to talk with too. The tat was designed after talking with me about the concept I had in mind and was far better than I had even imagined it. Since it was a full sleeve, a lot of the work was free-hand and you would never know it! I will return for future ink!!

I've been in multiple shops. I found Thomas at Shanghai Tattoo a year or so ago. I have a monthly appointment with him now. Doesnt matter what I ask he always exceeds my expectations. The man is a wizard with color. As long as hes gunnin or I run out of skin..thats my guy. This place is filled to the brim with talent and all of them are very nice people. Best shop around.

AMAZING PLACE! Had a full leg sleeve done by Tala. Been wanting it for years and finally took the plunge. So glad I did! The design Tala came up with was simply beautiful, the color scheme he chose was eye-catching, and the finished product is stunning. Exactly what I wanted. Tala is ridiculously talented and such a wonderful, kind soul. The shop itself is great too - love their new location, and everyone is super friendly and talented. Truly one of the best tattoo experiences I have had. I've already booked my next one 🙂
