Helen and the team at A Frame of Art are professionals in what they do. Helen helped me pick matting and frames that fit just right for the prints that I needed framing. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for and definitely a value here compared to biz box framing. And my money went to a small business, which is always a win over the alternative.

We don't write many reviews, but this one is warranted. We had ordered custom frames for our business. The frames are high quality, elegant, and really make the pictures stand out. To protect the pictures, they used museum grade glass. Trust me, spend the extra and get it. The difference in clarity between glass and plastic is night and day. They used a top quality wooden frames with extra width with an off grey matte to really draw attention. The frames look amazing. Helen even recommended a company that delivered and installed for a very fair price.

Helen and Richard's shop have many lovely frames and mattes and I’m so happy with the results! They were very helpful and patient as I figured my custom pieces. They were great at making suggestions and listening to my feedback as we tried out various scenarios. I loved that there is a step ladder so you can get a higher bird-eye view of the various possibilities too. The quality of the frames are wonderful. I've been collecting art for many years and when I finally had a big enough house to put them all up, I did a lot of vetting for all the shops in the surrounding cities. Among many criteria, A Frame of Art were opposite of a lot of other cluttered shops or frantic shop owners; they were extremely clean, organized, and had a very welcoming and professional vibe and atmosphere. They gave me personalized attention and even treated my daughter like a priority. I decided to go with them with my big order and each piece they framed for me was unique and exquisite including stretched Canvas art and customized matting. Going in and seeing what they did was like X Mas. They truly care about the art no matter what it is and truly care about the happiness of their customers. I'm very picky in the businesses I work with and I research a lot in all my decisions. Framing can be very expensive, but they worked with me on the costs and made every penny worth it. This is one of the best decisions I've made. They have found a life long customer in me.

The short version is that you will pay a bit more than you hoped, but for that additional cost you will receive STELLAR results that will only make you emphatically pleased that you chose A Frame of Art!

But if you want the long version, I had separate autographs, photos and an album of The Monkees that I hoped to get framed in a quality manner to retain as a keepsake now that three members of this beloved band have passed.

I visited A Frame of Art to help me with this venture and was incredibly impressed by all members of staff for the exceptional care they provided in determining all of the best elements for my piece as well as how best to display the various elements.

I was provided numerous options on matting, frames, glass and even the aesthetic presentation. Truly, once we were done, the results were exciting and I was eager to greenlight the venture, but I must admit that I paused when I heard the price.

I then ventured to a nearby Michael's Craft Store and was assisted by a clerk that did not know how to properly provide a bid, use their layout software, determine materials or provide any quality assistance at all. This debacle forced me to consider how clerks like this could provide me any form of comparable quality or confidence at all. While all did their best, frankly, they were LIGHT YEARS from the quality and care I had received from A Frame of Art.

So I immediately left that Michael's store and returned to A Frame of Art to complete my purchase. And really, I never should have left in the first place given that the amazing team at A Frame of Art had already provided such exceptional customer service and such an exciting vision that it was going to be WORTH the unanticipated expenses.

And really, it was foolish of me to even entertain going elsewhere since I would much rather deny business to a vast chain store that cannot properly train their staff and instead provide it to a local business comprised of talented and customer focused individuals eager to do their very best for you.

And the results were stunning! Not only did they deliver on every glorious aspect of my piece, they also used an even better matting (at no additional cost to me) AND crafted a special sleeve on the back of the piece to contain the actual record and its jacket to protect both since the album I had supplied was the actual 1966 release (again at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE).

So once again, while initially appearing pricier than I hoped, upon actually receiving my piece I could not be more pleased with my decision or firm in my belief that it was WORTH EVERY PENNY and I will never stray again!

Whenever I have cherished collectibles that I wish brilliantly protected and framed, I will return to A Frame of Art. If you use them, you too will soon learn that all members of Staff are wonderfully nice, exceptionally talented, and DESERVING of your business (not to mention VERY well trained on their software)!

I added a photo so you can see for yourself how they took the four signatures, photo and album I supplied and made it MAGNIFICENT (and even provided the hanging hooks too)! But sorry about the glare on the glass!
