Agora Gallery is a beautiful place where up and comers artists and photographers can find their way to be seen, exposed and featured. It’s a main room adjacent to a smaller one and I personally love their many initiatives and competitions (often in collaboration with NYAC). They also have tailored prices for artists who are interested in renting their spaces for venues and exhibitions. The staff there is not exactly welcoming, actually kind of aloof, but I think they want their audience to enjoy the experience on their own.

Agora Gallery is such a beautiful art gallery! It was really a dream to be a part of a large international gallery in Chelsea, NYC. The staff has been very professional and the biography, social media posts, and other assistance has been great. The opening reception was welcoming, encouraging, and an overall good experience! I’m hoping to sell a few pieces through the gallery and I felt that the in person gallery exhibition would be the best opportunity to be able to do that. This was a great opportunity for exposure and professional development!

I want to personally thank the Agora Gallery for a wonderful evening! The Agora team made me feel welcomed and honored as one of the artists presenting my work. I enjoyed not only meeting the other artists who were present, but also the public. It’s always exciting to meet those who are interested in your work and being able to interact and answer questions! Thank you again for having me back as second time!

As an artist, I participated in group exhibitions. All the staff and curators here are friendly and professional. Many people attended the exhibition's reception and showed a deep interest and affection for the painting. I could see the high standards of New Yorkers in their attitude towards art and artists. I was happy while I was here.

I went to NYC specifically to see Neil
Shapiro’s work . The gallery presented a great selection of his work in a separate room which allowed me to focus on each of the photos . In person the photos truly look like painted works of art , I had seen several previously on his website.
The other artists represented were impressive as well and each had a separate area to display their artwork. I enjoyed my visit and found the gallery staff to be so friendly and helpful . There was definitely a connection to the theme of the show and the art work displayed.
