Anderson Glass

Needed a new door for my glass fireplace insert for one side. Was told they didn't have the smokey pyrex to match the other side but they could get a different piece of glass fitted for $400. When I received the glass, it has cracked where they put the brackets back on the glass. (The owner tried to tell me it was my fault it cracked, when it was the middle of summer and I had not even had a fire. And the glass should not have just cracked sitting in place) Owner agreed to replace the door free of charge, and explained that the first piece they gave me wasn't even fire proof anyways. I called for two weeks asking where the glass was and when it would be finished, I left several voicemails and had not gotten a return call. I stopped down there and the owner had said he didn't have my name or number to call me when the piece was ready, even though I left thorough voicemails with my information. When I finally got the 2nd piece of replacement home, it wouldn't even fit inside back into my fireplace. So I brought the glass in the shop with my concerns and the employee asked me what I was doing bringing that piece back in the shop and he didn't want to see it again. Well to their own fault, the bracket was put on there crooked. Finally got the "fireproof pyrex" home and in place and the glass shattered again. No fire in the fireplace, nothing hitting the glass period. I know you're thinking it doesn't make any sense, but I can't figure out how it's happened twice now when the piece is just sitting in place. Do not recommend due to price, lack of communication, and overall quality of product.

Wonderful experience with Anderson Glass. They got us in quickly and replaced two of our windshields. Martin assisted my husband with rides so he could drop off both cars. Great customer service - highly recommend!

This last experience using anderson glass was not a good one. Our windows were not sized properly by the estimator, which in turn made us modify our kitchen back splash in order for the interior trim to be properly installed. The exterior trim was redone 3 times due to poor planning on cutting stucco, as well as attempts to use rough 2x4s as trim. The workers who were here left their empty cans, cigarette butts and broken glass with no intentions of cleaning up after themselves. They left without sealing the exterior trim that is inset into the stucco, which will allow water into the wall behind the window. I let the owner know about problems as the job was going, and after they said they were complete with little resolution from him on their mistakes. I ended up having to complete their job, clean up after them, and modify our home to get these windows installed. This project, for 3 windows, took almost an entire month due to having redo shoddy work as well as the workers only coming a couple hours a day, mostly once a week. The first day they came with the wrong windows. At every issue that arose, the owner would just blame an old employee who quit who knows how long ago. I WOULD NOT RECOMMMEND Anderson Glass, and will not be using them for any future projects. An absolute nightmare throughout the entire project.

Called, they came out and took measurements, ordered glass and got back with me to set up installation time. On the ball company. Sara is a sweetheart who knows what she's doing, great job Sara.

Terrible service! I’m a general contractor specializing in residential and commercial remodel. Anderson Glass ruined an absolutely beautiful custom shower with their complete lack of skill, experience, and care for my clients home. After 3 failed attempts by Anderson Glass to install a glass shower enclosure and over 6 months time the enclosure was scraped with no refund. Job was completed with quick turnaround and excellent quality by Weaver Lumber. My advise is avoid this glass shop at all cost and make the short drive up to Weaver Lumber for professional service. To add, all the positive reviews on here are from when the business was under prior ownership.

My wife and are local entrepreneurs and were using one of the bigger companies for all of our commercial and auto glass needs at our businesses. After one small order at Anderson Glass we won’t be using anyone else. Their prices were much more fair than the big guys around Redding we normally use, and the service was excellent.

if you have any glass repair or project this is the place to go. Family owned and run, they will help you from auto glass to sliding glass doors and picture frame glass. love this place. Update: I since have had my windshield replaced on my car and my truck. Tammy always gets the best price for glass. There work is guaranteed and done promptly.
