My son called to use Haygood as his lawyer. He was never told hourly rates, never contacted after he paid $25.50 to speak on the phone, also paid $510.00 for him to represent him in the court room. He was called from the receptionist to say he was running late but would be there. Then as we were sitting in the court room she called again stating he was on his way from Talladega. He received no contact at all from Haygood!! We were the last two in the court room when the judge asked who was our lawyer he was told Haygood and then the DA says I have his number and then that is the only time that they spoke. The DA asked who our lawyer was so if they had spoke like it was claimed he would have known!! Their communication is extremely poor and extremely poor services!! My son also called and was very respectful to the firm only to get the owner which was RUDE and he said you won’t get any money back he did his job. The DA and my son discussed things and they made the decision without any help from Haygood or the firm!! So, he could have never wasted his money on this terrible firm and did exactly what the DA said he thought would be best. Stay clear of this firm!! They take your money and give you nothing for it. Stay away look for someone who will talk to you and help you!! This was the worst experience I have ever seen from any firm dealing with any kind of case!! Do not use this firm!!
