Closed due to rain on Friday March 10, 2023. And I thought visiting a museum is the perfect activity for a rainy afternoon.

Would have been nice to see a status update posted online before I drove from downtown, paid to park on campus, and walked in the rain.

Small museum but very well done. The curators are top notch and the staff are extremely friendly. The exhibits are beautiful and always interesting. The most recent exhibit was on Michael Westmore and displayed original Star Trek makeup designs and masks. The museum is free and welcomes all. Be sure to leave a tip. 🙂

It was closed. I came here to review West Coast museums for a European museum journal, but this one will be missed from my article. I just don’t know why their hours are so extrmely limited.

Very small and literally none of the interesting things we saw in photos on Google maps was there, zero. Luckily it was free admission.

For a university museum, very nice. Superb collection of Chiura Obata paintings. Very moving pieces, especially from the Japanese internment era.
