If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I took a workshop over the weekend and was so surprised at the attention that I received. My teacher Jen was so supportive and insightful. Really made me feel great and I was able to explore my creativity freely. Will be taking more classes here!

I can not say enough nice things about this place! I recieved a gift certificate to Art on 30th for Christmas which lead me to take my first class in April, Abstract Art with Ann. Tons to learn & so much fun along the journey!! I left with a renewed passion for art, new skills & lifelong friends.

What Kate has created here is nothing short of amazing! Her and her entire team of staff and instructors are so passionate about what they do it shows and they willingly share their techniques with the students & their love of art with the San Diego community; its enriching for the community. Such a wonderful supportive envirnoment for everyone from the seasoned artist to the absolute novice. Its much more than a class room or studio space, it is a community. When you take a class there you feel the sense of community & love of art. I highly recommend taking a class or at the very least come to one of the Art openings and see for yourself!

Cute school. Stopped by to a friend's piece that was on exhibit. Seems like a we're inclusive warm space. Really enjoyed the gallery and the class that was going on while we were there.

I'm so happy that I finally signed up for painting classes here after wanting to for so long. My first session was with Marina Anta and I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for another class a month after with Jennifer McHugh. Both teachers are incredibly talented and friendly! The students and peers and kind and fun, too. Big shout out Nina at the front desk who gave me such a warm welcome. She's a skilled painter too! I hope to make this institution a regular part of my life.

This place is very wonderful. The teachers give the students group sessions to present new materials or ideas. They also go around the classroom to provide individual feed back/help to all the student. The students who take classes there are also very friendly and supportive. They have monthly art events for students and staff to show off their new works to the public.

Artists come to Art on 30th & Gallery to learn, grow & discover new skills. I have uncovered so many new techniques at this school that enhance my work. It is a professional studio with a friendly atmosphere & staff that are inspiring. I highly recommend the weekend workshops as well as their weekly classes.
