I've been a client of Auto Data Direct for a few years. The quality of the data they provide far exceeds the cost. Their rates are very fair and the information is valuable and reliable. I have never, ever had an issue with their results or website. I'm skeptical about the sources of the other weird reviews here as they certainly don't reflect my experience. How easy it to use? Very easy! I don't get how anyone would ever have a problem lol. You run the info and you get answers. I run searches many times a week and legit have never had a problem. Not even once. The tag info, driver info, and vin information is 100% accurate. This is a very valuable tool to have access to. I can not begin to explain how many times the information I have received from Auto Data Direct has helped me with an investigative case. We are talking about high stakes criminal and civil cases and missing person cases. The website is so easy to navigate and I love the archive (history) section. My experience with Auto Data Direct has always been super professional and the results highly accurate. If you are a Private Investigator and are not using them, I think you are missing out on extremely helpful information. I value the company, the results and I will always highly recommend them.

This place was supposed to be getting my title and registration on a camper I bought out of state and so I called them to see what was going on and the agent told me he had no clue and that they don’t do title and registration and then went on to tell me the recently took over a company ADD VTR50 and it is still being sorted out and provided absolutely no help I will take care of getting my title and registration myself be this company complete sucks ! Avoid them they know nothing !

What I thought and what is a great service are not one in the same. The fact that you cannot get assist on the weekend is absurd. I work for more than one company and the system does not recognize that and I needed to reset my password. I received a nonsense error saying you can only reset your password once in 24 hours. Well here is the funning thing, I only tried once. They need better support. They literally cost me money as I could not do my job. I bet they don't have that problem and get paid for doing their job. I hold this company responsible for the lost of revenue because they have a glitch in the system. There is no Technical Support either after their hours. Just awful. Why I ever recommended another company to use this company is beyond me. I am rethinking if I should ever refer another company. At the next Tow meeting I will be certain to share this experience with the other 75 plus individuals from 75 other Tow Companies that will be at the meeting. Let's see what they do with this recent issue. Not one company will want to lose money. Thanks for costing me money!!!

Opened an account online. Paid the deposit with a company credit card. They contact me asking to verify our business. We provide our business documents (licenses etc). They begin to ask questions, as if picking my business apart, looking for a reason not to extend there services. After jumping thru to many hoops, I asked for my funds back, because it just shouldn't have been so difficult. By the way, I used this company before, signing up wasn't an issue. I know other companies in my field that have signed up, again signing up wasn't an issue. This situation felt discriminatory. VERY UNHAPPY! Would not recommend.

ADD is a good program that is way better than the old paper method WHEN IT WORKS. If you are a towing company using towbook and ADD together beware! I personally think they integrated with towbook before they were really ready to. I've been a member for a year and have constant problems with certified letters not being created even though they look like they were sent in towbook. This has been and on and off problem where their system "isn't connecting with towbook properly" Every time you call they tell you its towbook's issue not theirs...how's that for customer service?!! I think they need to dump more time and energy into perfecting this because when it doesn't work properly it can be detrimental for us, especially if your state is strict on how long it takes you to notify owners and lienholders....you thought you did and turns out ADD never sent them. There is also ZERO training on how to use their website, so be prepared to waste time figuring it out yourself.

The signing up process has been such a hassle I finally got fed up and asked for a refund. Initially called and spoke with rep and she explained everything I needed and would get my application processed in about 5 days. I had to call on the 7th business day to get a status and they said they needed more documents supporting that I service businesses. I gave them those documents and now I'm being told they don't know if I'll even be able to be approved. They'll have to run through their supervisor. I would've appreciated they said it wasn't guaranteed my approval even If I submitted the documents they wanted so I wouldn't waste my time waiting and have to bother other businesses to write my business letters of recommendations. These reps have horrible training and I wouldn't recommend this company to any one if they want a smooth application process. I myself am a registered business who meets their requirements yet can't be approved. Kind of ridiculous if you ask me. (:
