I attended the beginner's class and immediately fell in love with watercolor. Betsy is an amazing teacher and give space for our creativity to be expressed. Kate also is around helping us to understand the colors and supporting our artistic explorations. Besides that they are great artists. Amazing paintings! Super worth a visit!

If you want a masterclass in a welcoming environment taught by an excellent artist, you have found a home! Betsy is a wonderful teacher – caring and patient. Each class features detailed demonstrations with explanations and one-on-one assistance. I have taken the botanical workshop, the beginner sessions, and now attend studio classes. I have learned so much in a short time. The classes are small and there is ample time for learning and creating; and Betsy is nimble at teaching artists at all levels. Some participants have never picked up a brush, while others are experienced. Whether beginner, intermediate or advanced, you will transform your skills through these classes. And we laugh, encourage, and inspire each other, so come join us!

Betsy's classes are the best. She is a wonderful teacher and so generous with her knowledge. She is always so helpful when ever you feel stuck or just need some help. Her classes are relaxed and open and she is so nice to everyone. Her assistant Kate is also great. My watercolor skills have gotten so much better since I've been in her class.

I truly enjoy painting at the Betsy Jacaruso Studio! I have taken the beginner watercolor classes and currently attend the mixed level classes. The atmosphere is supportive and creative. Betsy is a talented watercolor artist with an ability to demonstrate technique and vision and to inspire students to create art in our own unique style.
