Jake is an absolutely amazing art teacher!
We have been meeting weekly for six years!!
We started doing lessons when I was in Sixth grade and he helped me get into a prestigious art high school. I am now in my freshman year of college. He can teach you literally anything you need to know about art and drawing. He's helped me draw thousands of drawings and even develop worlds and stories. He is a great guy, super funny, and really fun to hang out with. He has been one of the most important factors of my artistic development and I couldn't be where I am today without him.

Jake is the real deal. He's passionate about art and excited to teach. The art studio is nice, clean, inviting and inspires creativity.
His knowledge and vocabulary instantly gets you into the mindset to think and visualize like an artist. The price is reasonably inexpensive so I'm looking forward to continuing classes and seeing my progress with such a good teacher.

Jake's class is pretty amazing. It's relaxed, insightful, and motivating. He genuinely has a wealth of knowledge in a wide range of styles. I'm really impressed by his broad versatility, but also how he helps you narrow your focus to what you want. You can totally see how passionate he is about art, and he's eager to share everything he knows to help you get to where you want to be creatively.

I was pretty blown away when I learned that he's published his own extensive teaching material. The way he breaks things down to their simplest elements makes it super easy to understand and follow his class. If you're looking for an art class, I can't recommend his enough.

This is so worth it! Jake is the real deal. I showed up curious and open minded and learned so much. Jake is enthusiastic, upbeat and fun! He's engaging and keeps you interested. When I had questions, he was also open minded and patient to explain things for me to better understand. He also didn't make me feel ignorant or embarrassed to get things wrong or ask my questions. I learned so much in just the short two hours I was working with him. I haven't been this excited to start a new opportunity since I picked up my new personal hobbies and I do those everyday!? If you are interested in learning from someone who is passionate about his craft and willing to share his personal knowledge and information on a level you can't get anywhere else, Jake's is the place! I will definitely be working with him in the future and I'm excited to start learning with him!?
