We drove a hour to try this restaurant. Once we were finally seated, after our reservation time, we had to wait for a waitress. Once she finally took our order, we got our appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops. It tasted like just eating bacon. We finally got part of our meals. My 4 oz filet was supposed to be medium but it was overcooked to pretty much well done. Never got butter for our baked potatoes nor did we ever get our salads. When we finally got our waitress to come over, we pointed out the fact that we never got salads or the butter. A different lady came over and offered us $10 off….what the heck was that? The bill was $98 and some change…$10 off!! We told her no, just bring the bill but we will not be back. We left but then my boyfriend went back inside to let the manager know. Their reasoning was that they were busy serving 500 people that night and also told him that maybe we shouldn’t have come for our first time on Valentine’s Day….what kind of thing is that to say? But will most definitely NOT be back!! We will stick to Heath’s restaurant in Dunn where the service is spot on and steaks are cooked to perfection!!!!

This winery is adorable! The wines are delicious and the building is unique. There is a lot of history and charm here. I would love to go back. The food in the restaurant was good, but expensive. I definitely recommend going!

DEFINITELY WILL BE COMING BACK!! Iris is the most elegant friendly and adorable host. The staff definitely made you feel like a part of the family. The ambience in this cozy quaint Irish Inn and restaurant was beautiful and all accommodations were perfect for my girl's night out 💜💜💜💜💜💜 The pictures cant even capture the charm of this place...BTW the food and the wine was MOUTHWATERING!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Do the wine tasting first! Buy your bottles there they are half the price here than when you go into the restaurant. They bring out a complimentary "cheese ball" and a veggie tray. with prepackaged crackers already on the table. The cheese ball I feel pretty confident when I say it was a butterball with some blue cheese chunks in it and paprika sprinkled on the top. Not much flavor at all just an oily texture from all the butter. The veggie tray was kind of interesting, I'm not really sure why they wanted to pair that with the butter ball. Lol should have been breads, that pepper jelly they have and some salami or something. . We ended up getting our salads first because the kitchen was slammed. We didnt mind though. I got the thousand island, house made, and it was so wonderful definitely recommend that!. The stuffed mushrooms were very very good! We were not a fan of the french onion soup, the pastry on top didnt absorb any of the soup, which is why most use bread. But the flavor was still very good. Finally the meal. We got the king and queens prime rib cuts. VERY good! Highly recommend. We got our medium rare and it turned out perfect, the stuffed potato, if a must! The only thing I did not like was the quality in presentation, we didnt mind the price but the face that we got a lot of plastic cups and tiny wine glasses that didn't match. One was to a wedding from 2013 I believe.. we did have fun and ate great food.

My daughter and I enjoyed the wine we tasted & it's reasonably priced. The place is decorated wonderfully. If you would like to stick to a time schedule I would definitely consider driving past or letting them know up front you only want to try certain wines. Otherwise, if you have no where else to be, it's a fun place.

The Korean beef, sweet potato, garlic mashed potatoes and garden salad with thousand island dressing were amazing but the broiled flounder tasted fishy.

Such an amazing experience! Everyone was so lovely! I enjoyed the atmosphere of the medieval times!! This is a must do!
