Had a wonderful experience visiting the Crocker Art Museum! Admission was $15 per adult and I was pleasantly surprised with how large the museum was. My spouse and I took about an hour perusing the museum and were so impressed with the wide variety and style of art available. Metered parking was available directly across from the museum which made it very easy to access the museum without having to walk far at all.

This is my favorite art museum to see over and over again, bar none. I mean, three floors of amazing, renowned art that spans continents, centuries, cultures, and with ever-changing exhibitions, to boot, right here in my backyard! Over 25,000 pieces of art - never a dull moment. Even for children.
I've been coming here often since early 1960s and have never been disappointed, only delighted, with each visit. I always learn something new from their highly knowledgeable docents. We did two tours today - history and architecture. Incredible!
Thank you, Mr. E.B. Crocker and his wife, Margaret Rhodes Crocker!

My son loves to go here since he was in first grade and came here for his field trip. we came on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. If you have low income or EBT, you can get in for free. Parking was easy to find and there was lots of parking. My 11 year-old had a great time his favorite part of the visit was the ceramic cups they put so much detail in them and it was beautiful.

Absolutely the most amazing, biggest, jaw dropping, very well kept, neat, clean Mansion that is full of history. I've been multiple times and still haven't been able to take in everything inside this mansion, it's massive. Only $15 for an adult and free for anyone with SNAP or EBT. They have tons of different types of events held throughout the year. Also, plenty of daily tours with the knowledgeable staff. Make sure you check out their website. Go see it for yourself absolutely amazing!!!

An amazing Art Museum with a part for Art from around the world and the second part is actually an old house that belonged to the Crocker family. Step into the past and see the house and paintings from the past with detailed explanation of the art pieces.
It is as beautiful as visiting the Louvre in France.

Great museum. The Bay Area gallery has about 20-25% women artists on exhibit, which is quite high (sad to say) when it comes to art galleries. I also enjoyed the temporary exhibit of Mexican pop culture blown glass and 3D images. Third Sundays are FREE.

I went in without much background, and I found this place fascinating. I have never been to a museum with so much contemporary ceramics, and I really like how they put historic and modern pieces from different cultures side by side, to emphasize how these are living traditions. The section on California art was awesome if you're like me and are a fan of nature in this state! But there's something in here for everyone. It's quite a large museum and positively stuffed with interesting art, so I will be back to see more! I bought tickets in advance, thinking there would be tons of people for B of A free day, but there were actually very few people here, which feels like a crime considering how cool this museum is! Definitely a hidden gem
