I asked Design Proficient to create a custom logo for a side business that my husband and I have out of our home to build rustic farmhouse decor. From my initial email to them, inquiring about prices to the final, finished approved product with the files delivered to me for downloading (which included back-and-forth conversations with up to four revisions) was a total of 10 days. They were very responsive and worked quickly to meet our needs. My husband and I are happy with the service we received and with our final logo.

True Professionals!

Firstly I would like to thank my project manager Edward and his team for going above and beyond. This was my first time getting a logo made from these guys and they did not disappoint. From the beginning to the end any questions and concerns were answered right away, the work was true quality, and I felt like they truly cared about my project as if were their own. I would highly recommend design proficient, speak to Edward for A+ service, there are some true professionals working over there and I wouldn't take my business anywhere else.

Please do your research before hiring this company. I hired them to design a website and after they kept calling me time and again trying to sell me more products I finally got frustrated and charged back the amounts through my bank. My wife and I did not see the dispute come back through our bank and missed the deadline to respond. That is totally on us. I thought maybe Design Proficient would be reasonable and refund a portion of the $7000 for a website that was nowhere near completed. I wasn't asking them to not get paid for the work they completed. I was just asking them to evaluate the quality of work and refund the difference. Believe me, this was nowhere near a $7000 website. When I called they said that they won the dispute fairly and told me they could resume work on the website for more money. DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THIS COMPANY FIRST. Just look at the BBB complaints, I wish I had.

Jasper did an awesome job designing my company website. He communicated with me very well and often during the process. I was able to view and approve (or ask for changes) as each phase of the site was completed. The final published result was very professional and looks amazing. I would highly recommend Design Proficient, and especially Jasper!

I want to start by saying the logo turned out great.
The reason for the 1 star (I wish i could give 0) was due to their terrible communication, unresponsiveness, unreliability and many more poor qualities. The beginning was fine, they created an initial logo that looks great. We moved to revisions and this is where everything went down hill. I asked for a color change and it took them a week to respond back. After several months of calling and trying to get the color changed, we got it. There were still issues with the logo that needed to be fixed.

Towards the beginning I asked if there were any hidden fees i might need to pay in the future and they said no. Great, after we completed the initial design of the logo, the next stage was finalizing the logo colors and slight changes. I was directed to a man named James Black, the "Legal advisor". He said the only way for me to receive ownership of the logo is if i sent him $350 for copy write fees (This was supposedly for "government filing"). They didn't finish my logo and they told me I wouldn't need to pay hidden fees so this didn't make sense. I called James and he told me finishing the logo and transferring ownership would cost would cost $700. He then screamed at me when I told him that i would only pay government fees for copy-writing when the logo was finished. After weeks of arguing over the phone and email and James screaming and personally attacking me, the design was completed and I paid for the $350 "government fees". I have no clue why they told me $700.

They told me the paperwork for copy writing would take a few weeks, maybe a month. It's been 7 months an i havent received paper work. To top it off I just got 3 calls within a few days saying i needed to pay $350 more for more copy writing.

In total, I paid $275 (for the logo) + $350 (copy write fees). Never work with this company and if you are, dispute the charges on your credit card because they are scammers. James if you are reading this, you have lost all respect from me and my colleagues that went through all this.

I cant believe this company is still in operation.

My website looks amazing thanks to Design Proficient! My project manager Daniel was amazing and super easy to work with. Daniel was very attentive and the team provided a quick turnaround time in regards to every project we worked on.My end results were more than i ever expected!

BE CAREFUL! The whole business is a scam!, I requested a logo design and they provided inferior quality!! I gave them a logo concept I worked on, and they have never proposed any creative idea or improvement! It was a waste of money and time! Especially after they have denied me of a full refund based on terms they never highlighted or mentioned at all!!!
They gave me funny results would not even work for an imaginary business rather than a professional venture!

Also, the business is not carried out from San Francisco as you would think! If you're seeking the high quality and creativity of the Silicon Valley professionals!! This is not the place!!! All the people contacted me, talked with me, and manged the project were based overseas!!!
