Food was great, and definitely one of the better Turkish restaurants I’ve been to. Service was also good.

Köfte was particularly great and appetizers were tasty. I think the prices are high for the main dishes in particular, once you factor in quantity (the kebab trio for two was $50, and I’d normally pay $30-40 for this volume at restaurants of same tier)

What a great restaurant. We used to love the little French place that used to be here, but this one is a cut above. The food is great and has you covered whether you are vegetarian, love meat, lean towards seafood, or love bread. We had a few appetizers (peppers and yogurt, beef dumplings, octopus), the mushroom pide, and the beef tenderloin skewer. The bread they serve at every meal is a real hit and it's hard to pick a favorite dish. Service is solid and the place is charming and cozy.

My only nit is that I wish it had Turkish breakfast, which is one of my favorite things from Turkey.

I absolutely love Esnaf! Their dinner menu is consistently delicious, with fresh and flavorful dishes that never disappoint. I was thrilled to discover that they now offer breakfast on weekends as well! The breakfast spread is incredible from warm, flaky pastries to fresh salads and a variety of savory and sweet accompaniments. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, and the staff are always friendly and attentive

Great experience ….. lovely ambience, amazing food and warm hospitality! It’s located conveniently on San Carlos Avenue and with a lot of parking around.

We ordered the Meze Trio and the combination is mind blowing with the special cheese meze. It came paired with a freshly baked bread, soft, puffy and yummy. Next we got the salmon flat bread which was another genius creation with smoked salmon, cheese and flatbread. The chicken Kabab platter was the entree that came with well done kebabs, bursting with flavor and just melted in my mouth ! Lastly we ordered pistachio gelato and Katmer for dessert. Though they were independently ordered we realized they went absolutely phenomenal with each other and I’d strongly suggest pairing them together.

The hospitality of the staff is warm and the interior is decorated nicely with Turkish painted glassware on the wall. There is also outdoor seating and the roadside is a pretty sight out there while eating. Highly recommended restaurant !

We are very impressed with the food. The oven-baked fish and mushroom are excellent! Last time, we also had the grill trio, the chicken was one of the best I ever had, very juicy. Recommend to try!

I had such a great experience at Esnaf! We went for a Turkish breakfast, and it was seriously delicious. They had everything: scrambled eggs, fresh tomato & cucumber salad, cheese, olives, jam, honey butter, plus pogaca and simit pastries that were fresh and tasty. The best part, though, was the sujuk pide! It was absolutely amazing! The crust was just right, and the sujuk and cheese combo was perfect. We also had some Turkish tea, which hit the spot and went perfectly with everything. The vibe was cozy, and the staff was super friendly. If you’re looking for a spot to try Turkish breakfast, I definitely recommend checking out Esnaf. You won’t be disappointed!

One of the best Turkish spots in the Bay Area. Incredible flavor profile and very tasty dishes + quality ingredients. The staff is super sweet and attentive. Wish the portions were bigger because everything is so yummy
