This was the best experience anyone could ask for. It’s been a while since I got a tattoo, this is my second one and I’m so happy I waited till I found this shop. More importantly the artist! Holly was such a great communicator before I even set up an appointment. The shop was so clean, great vibes. I Love the end result. I had an idea, Holly reworked it to be more personable and I love it. So much detail, she did an amazing job I’m happy to have found someone who works with you, gives options and makes sure that it’s a comfortable experience all the way through.

Had the most pleasant experience at fleur noire a few days ago! My friend and I walked in and everyone was kind and patient with us. The shop is beautiful and clean with cool art on the walls. Canx was our artist, and he is so incredibly talented, I’m still in awe of my beautiful new tattoo. He sat with us and talked through our reference visuals, sizes, location, price points - felt very casual and no pressure, he was fun to talk with. He drew up some ideas that were even better than I had envisioned, and the tattooing process was quick (in a good way), fun, and (nearly) painless. I very highly recommend @canxtattoo and everyone at fleur noire!

Talk about a 10/10 experience. The moment I walked in I felt welcomed. Vienna and the other tattoo artists were very hospitable and friendly. I was a little nervous at first but the moment Vienna started on the tattoo the nervous feeling went away. You can see the amount of detail and effort she put into this tattoo. I definitely plan on coming back here for my next tattoo

The absolute best tattoo experience with Canx! I get compliments on the three he did for me constantly, and I’d go back to him for all of my future tattoos. Finding Jay at Fleur Noire was such a happy accident. I had wanted to get a tattoo in honor of the passing of David Lynch and am relatively new to NYC and didn’t know where to go. After some googling and Reddit crawling, I had a short list of shops and was moved by the name and logo to start here. I was paired with Jay and I couldn’t be happier with the result. He was kind, quick, had a very light touch and nailed the drawing. Highly recommend.

Ilkim did a tattoo for me and my husband based on a design I created, but he made the design perfect before the appointment. The finished tattoo is exactly what I wanted. The lines are really tight and clean and I can’t wait to take the wrap off. Also editing to add that Ilkim was the cleanest artist I’ve worked with. Everything was wrapped and covered, multiple glove changes, and wrapped/recovered between me and my husband. Really impressed. Thank you!

Jay was so awesome to work with! I told him I wanted to get a tattoo of my cat's pawprint replicated, he did a beautiful sketch perfectly copying the image I sent and worked with presicion while still being friendly and getting to know me. I truly felt taken care of. Highly recommend working with Jay to anyone wanting a new fine line tattoo.

This was my first tattoo experience and it was excellent. Ilkim was my artist and he made sure that our session was clean, orderly, and timely. He listened to what I wanted, made suggestions about size, and the design was perfect. Super super clean lines and beautiful work. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next piece! 10/10.
