I couldn’t be happier with the work I got done here by Jason Ante. I came in with an old tattoo I wanted to cover up, and not only did Jason completely transform it, but he brought my vision for a traditional Japanese sleeve to life in a way that went above and beyond my expectations. From the first consultation, he really took the time to understand what I wanted from the symbolism, the flow to the style and he NAILED it. His attention to detail, steady hand and knowledge of traditional Japanese art made the whole experience incredible. This sleeve means a lot to me, and now it looks even better than I imagined. I had the best experience at Hand of Glory tattoo the highly talented artist, Logan! Caroline was amazing and was so helpful scheduling me and explaining the process. She helped accommodate my need for a later appointment, I really appreciate how kind she was! I knew the general concept of what I wanted for my first tattoo, but I came into the studio without an exact sketch. Logan drew out my DREAM tattoo on the iPad, and he even helped show me how the orientation on my body could flow better with my shape. He then executed it perfectly, the tattoo is so gorgeous. I’m so thrilled with how it turned out, he’s truly such an artist!! The whole atmosphere was just great—Logan is so good at making you feel comfortable, explaining the process, and his tattooing style felt so gentle and painless. If I ever get a future tattoo, it has to be from Logan for sure!!

Few years ago I was looking for an artist that does traditional Japanese and got the pleasure to work with Jason Ante, he took the time to come up with the best sketch to my liking and care about every little detail. Had an amazing experience last summer at Hand of Glory. Artist Jason Ante’s top-notch work has both my forearms looking amazing ! Wrist to crook of elbow on each arm, Jason designed an outstanding hanya mask for my left arm and an awesome snake to wrap around my right arm. The shop is great and all support staff were good peeps. Jason is a standout artist. I look fwd to returning next summer to work on my leg!

I came to Hand of Glory and their sister location The End is Near twice recently - once for my helix, and once for my eyebrow, and I got pierced by Jules both times. She is so sweet, calm, and accommodating. She really knows how to get her clients feeling comfortable and happy! I wouldn't want to be pierced by anyone else. I've never had a problem with my piercings from this location, and it's always a super smooth process!

Got a second helix piercing underneath my first, and Jules was very kind and accommodating. I was having some irritation problems with my first piercing and she gave me some tips to help it heal better. It’s been a week and the piercing she gave me is healing wonderfully! I have no issues with it and it’s looking great. I’m so thankful to Jules for doing such a great job!

I’ve been tattooed by both Kate and Mike and get compliments on my tattoos everywhere I go. I had gone to several different tattoo artists all around CT, NY, and MA but as soon as I found Kate I’ve never seen anyone else since. I’ve been getting tattooed by her for 6 years now and still make a 3 hour drive to come see her because her work is beyond phenomenal.

She’s done almost all of the work on both of my sleeves and started on my legs now and I love her vision for how to place each piece to look like a cohesive sleeve. She is able to take any concept I have and create it in her own distinct style and I would trust her with absolutely any design.

The shop is also amazing. It’s beautiful, clean, easy to find, and the staff is so friendly. I am so grateful to have found them and recommend the shop to everyone.
