DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING from this scam artist. I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased a gift for my father’s birthday and he said it would ship out within a few days. Never did. Always excuses or blaming something else. Then stops responding. Basically tries to steal your money and not send out any product. Order from anywhere else.

Purchased a Michael Jordan print on Feb 14th 2024 for $70.00. I texted him on March 29th that I hadn’t received the order and again on May 8th. Still nothing. Don’t bother buying and listen to these other reviews

I ordered artwork from David at his store in Laguna Beach for $257.26. I swiped my card using his Apple Square and did not receive a printout or electronic receipt. I provided my address in San Jose and he was to ship three pieces of artwork. Months went by and I inquired. He apologized and said he signed the artwork and it would be shipped. This went on for couple of weeks and I saved the text messages from him stating he was going to ship them. When I finally asked for a refund he stopped communicating with me. I filed a claim to my credit card company and they said it was reversed because it was an in-store purchase and I needed an invoice to prove the artwork was going to be shipped, which Dave never provided. He has multiple complaints on Google and Yelp reviews for the same issue. People buy artwork when they're on vacation and it's too large to carry back with them so it gets shipped. I am an art collector and have never had this issue. Dave needs to be held accountable for conning multiple customers and also wasting my time having to go through various avenues to get my money back. I'm a working professional taking care of my dad in memory care and do not appreciate spending time that I don't have, but it's not right that he scams people and is not being held accountable. I will take him to court if this is not resolved, which involves more time and money, but he needs to be held responsible so he doesn't continue steeling thousands of dollars from customers. Criminals go to jail for theft, This situation is no different than steeling money from someone when you take their money and don't provide the goods.

Dave is truly gifted. Me and my family walked in and were greeted like family. Being a huge Dodger fan I purchased a World Series Canvas and a Vin Scully one. Truly satisfied with my purchase. Can't wait to go back and add to my wall. Thank you Dave and keep up your amazing work!

Dave Hobrecht does phenomenal artwork. Looking at his pieces you can't tell if they are hand drawn or actual photos. His pieces cover all kinds of sports and other subjects and aren't your typical climax moments. He really puts thought into his masterpieces. My wife and I stopped in and we chatted with Dave for quite a while and he is just a great guy.

He even said that he can do custom work at pretty reasonable prices. He also gave me the name of his framer (Mirage) and I utilized them to get some large posters framed that I had put off for over 20 years.

Great sports art, even better artist and person. My teen son and I visited his gallery in Laguna Beach and Dave's art just jumps out at you. This was one gallery that my teen truly enjoyed with me. Dave was very friendly and chatted with us for a long time. We bought two pieces (Kobe and Shohei) and they are now proudly displayed in my son's room. Have recommended Dave's art to many of my sports fan friends.
