A huge shout out to Miguel and Leo, who helped us in our Search for our next new car. Miguel was incredibly patient as we test drove a number of vehicles And peppered him with 1000 questions. We never felt any pressure to be swayed in a certain direction as we have from some other sales people in the past. Both Miguel and Leo just wanted us to find the right car for our needs and did everything they could to make that happen. The worst customer service experience I have ever had. Service and parts, look at the reviews. I came in with an appointment to have a key made. I get quoted $488 for a new key. Two hours later I get a call and return only to find out that after scanning my vin, it produced the wrong key. Then false accusations that I have had my ignition replaced and that the error was my fault. It was then rudely asserted that I would have to pay for the key that doesn’t work and for a new key approximately 1K to have a key made. The whole time the guy helping me in service was condescending, impatient, and had no interest in finding compromise. Eventually, the cops were called because I refused to pay for the key that didn’t work. After a 10 minute conversation with a sheriff, and now three hours of wasted time, I was able to leave without paying for the key that didn’t work. In order to not get charged with a crime, I had to sit and wait for a deputy to make my case while missing clients and $ all the while. The experience was nothing short of embarrassing and unnecessary. The service/parts guy was making insults towards me, suggesting the car I owned had the ignition replaced when it had not been, and making comments suggesting I am poor due to having a 2006 with 230k miles on it.I have had the key successfully replaced by a private locksmith, for half the cost, and he confirmed that the ignition had never been changed to result in a key not working. Further proving my point that this parts associate was trying to get me to pay for something that was completely unjustified and a result of their own negligence. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to not visit this dealership. You will regret it.

We Love Luis! This is for Luis whom helped us out greatly with our search, we were unable to make it that far north to purchase the car but let me tell you, I contacted at least 10 other dealers around the area (Autonation, Capital, Stevens Creek, Ocean Honda, Honda Marin, etc) and LUIS IS BY FAR THE BEST when it comes to making pricing simple and COMPETITIVE (I can tell you the worst too, Cough Hayward Honda Ron Cough). I also recommended him to other friends who are interested in buying Honda and will continue to do so in future.

Honda San Carlos feels very professional and proud of their work. My glove compartment door wouldn’t shut after they had replaced the cabin air filter and it took the service director about 30 seconds to diagnose and fix it.
Pro tip: come early in the AM like 7-730 am so there’s no waiting in line.
They have a free shuttle to get you back to your starting point.
Cons: their work is not cheap but I trust them more than I trust the random mechanics out there. So there’s that.
I will go there for major mechanical scheduled updates but will go for oil changes to Wheelworks SM instead.
