Their service and customer assistance has been excellent so far! I'm using their online backup storage and it was easy to install, setup and automate! I haven't touched the settings since initial setup!

Great service for a great price. All you need to backup your data safely and conveniently. Would recommend to all who need a hassle-free, user-friendly, cloud storage solution. The fact that they offer storage solutions up to 100TB for personal accounts is a huge plus, compared to competitor cloud storage providers. Overall, very pleased with the products and service provided by iDrive.

I've been looking for a backup solution for a while, just looking to handle some pictures, documents, etc. Criteria was ease of use, fully featured, generous storage capacity and reasonable cost.

After evaluating several contenders, I opted for IDrive. Upon installation, I quickly saw how to save my files and did so. I like that there are multiple versions of my work available for recovery if need be in case I mess something up.

One really useful feature is the app's ability to back up a changed document immediately without my intervention. That way I don't have to remember to do so myself.

In the end, all you really want from any application is for it to work without any drama. This program accomplishes the job and I'm very happy with it.

The price is very competitive but the UI is a little wonky and it took me 3 weeks to upload a 3GB backup with a hardwired ethernet connection and solid up./down speeds. Even after that not all the files uploaded so I had to backup a few times. I called support and they were helpful so that is also a big plus. Would leave 5 stars if it wasn't so slow.

I just switched from Carbonite. I had been with them for years and, while their service was good their cost was high.
After doing online 'research' I decided to go with IDrive. I had a few questions with the initial set-up (mainly because I'm always in a hurry and don't read directions). The on-line chat was very helpful.
Both computers are set-up and going smoothly. I just checked everything now and it's all correct.
Over-all I'm very happy and highly recommend.

I've only been using IDrive for a couple of weeks but I'm got reason to be very hopeful that I may finally have found an excellent solution for backup. I've had a few snags--no surprise initially--but tech support has been spectacular. They respond immediately, by email and phone, have taken their time to give full explanations,and followed up to make sure the issue is resolved.

It's too soon for final judgments: not everything has yet been resolved (largely because of my time limitations), and it's only been a couple of weeks. Normally I wouldn't leave an early review like this, except it was solicited in exchange for a refund--which hasn't at all influenced my review.

Summary: I suspect that after a couple of months of using, I'd probably give a five star review, but we're not there yet.

Basically my experience is very positive. I like that I can back up more than one computer on the same account. Also, that I can choose which files to back up, as I have some duplicated on more than one drive. It would be helpful if they offered a few more instructions for beginners, such as the need to open the download to start installation, and the need to download the program onto a second computer in order to back it up.

I am switching to iDrive for the encryption and the better value, 5x what I get from my current solution for a better price! The interface is simple and intuitive and the feature set is comparable to any other cloud storage solution. My only wish is that there was a more automated way to transition from other cloud services. But other than that, this has been a fantastic experience so far!
