Jackie is an expert, delightful teacher who is a pro at helping beginners have a successful experience in making stained glass. Her kindness and warmth put me at ease, and her well-designed 6-hour workshop, "Stained Glass in a Day" allowed me, a complete beginner, to make a beautiful stained glass panel that I am proud to display.

The workshop had sixteen participants, and normally Jackie works with an experienced assistant so that each student can get as much support as they need. On this day, her assistant cancelled due to illness, so Jackie had the challenging task of helping 16 novices go through her 19-step process to create beautiful art. She moved with grace and ease from student to student, and she provided kind support to each of us. I feel fortunate to discover a teacher who provides both expert guidance and warm encouragement to empower novice students (like me!)

We love this place and always stop by when we are in Santa Cruz. We found this cute little store many, many years ago, when we stayed across the street at the Harbor Inn. Wish they had more smaller items for sale as souvenirs like their glass flower picks or the glass Icicles. Don't worry, I still spent $100 there, and so did my daughter since we found glass beads and charms. Mmm, I should've bought the cute window stained glass picture of a bee instead, so next time 😆

We bought a large round piece placed into our home back in 2000. 24 years later it still looks fabulous!

I Was in need of a single pane of glass cut to replace a window in my room, the skylight place said I would have to wait a full 24 hours for them to have it done. The ladies at Kiss My Glass said they could have it ready right away and when I came to pick it up they said I could bring it back for grinding or cutting if it didn't fit, very nice and comparable price, would recommend A+, Thank You!

I have be doing lampwork for over 20 years. Kiss My Glass is my favorite stop when I’m in Santa Cruz. I have taken several classes, with great success. My skills have improved and I always learn new techniques. Jackie provides a safe, nurturing environment! She stocks her inventory with all sorts of products that get my creative juices flowing. Check KMG out-you will love it!

Class was advertised as an advanced workshop, however it ended up being a ZERO experience class for beginners. Instructor was incredibly rude and belittled anyone with an ounce of skill. She bullied people with different methods into her “19 steps” that resulted in poor products because of the lack of precision in the steps. She would regularly take whatever someone was doing out of their hand and begin to do it herself without asking. I was soldering and she took the iron from my hand and re did my beading because “she didn’t like how it looked”. I was deeply appalled by the lack of safety in the workspace, as there was no eye protection provided and soldering was done indoor without proper ventilation. This was especially shocking since she kept touting her 30 plus years of glass experience in everyone’s face. The class was very expensive to only allow your students to make pre made patterns with only twelve pieces and leftover scrap glass. I love stained glass with all my heart and this class sucked every ounce of joy out of it. If you have any prior experience with glass, DO NOT TAKE THE CLASS.

What a fun experience. We stopped in to shop and found out they were offering a class. We were looking for surf art and ended up making our own with the assistance of artists and owner Jackie. Three hours never went by so fast. My husband and I along with a few others had so much fun learning, creating, chatting and enjoying the over all experience. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone. We will come back for sure... Thanks Jackie.
