While the website was satisfactory, the business experience was wholly unsatisfactory for the reasons listed. Considering the money invested, customers would expect quality far more than a satisfactory outcome, especially with respect to animation, engagement of project management and understanding of the music industry. Overall, the experience was more akin to buying a car with continued return to the project manager for repricing and packaging, arguing that the original product did or did not contain the features and specifications in the service purchases. For this reason, the buyer should BEWARE and extremely careful of the purchase as the the supplier is much more concerned with adding more services than providing the correct service! There is always a hidden charge with this supplier
1) I needed to close my business. I thought the continued maintenance agreement would include the simple task of taking my business offline and removing it from the web. Boy, was I wrong there was a $1,000 fee charged to accomplish this.
2) I understood that I had unlimited pages that could be added to my website. This was true, until there was a limitation on the size of the page which was restricted to be very small. Again, I was charged hefty design fees for each page.
3) I was told my service included redesign, but when attempted the limits were restrictive.
Please be extremely careful of this company. My strongest advice is to look elsewhere for these services

After a year of business that included website and logo design, our contract was due for renewal. We decided and spoke with multiple employees at Logomentary and their “partner” company that we would not be paying anything further and were not interested in hosting. They CONFIRMED that the domain that we purchased was set to expire and that we would be able to repurchase it for the normal price via go-daddy - just as they had done in the beginning. The date for the expiration arrived and these employees acted as the crooks they are and did not release the domain as promised, but instead are essentially holding the domain hostage and posted it for sale for $100,000! Insanity.

Things to note:
Communication was inconsistent each and every time we needed something changed on the website. The majority of our emails were left unresolved.

We are a small, independent Excavation company and paid more than normal for a simple website and logo design. We did not want hosting, we just wanted our website to be active and they deactivated the site without communication. Hence, the confusion for and frustration that they demanded we pay even more money for renewal.

They have no need and have no rights per the contract with our domain and we’ve lost thousands of dollars to this scam of a company.

The absolute worst. I paid them for another website and logo to put on a different platform and they scammed me out of my money. I paid them Jan 2, 2024 and it was taking very long. That’s when I finally got through and they told me Johnny died and I will get another project manager Well it’s 11/5/2024 I’ve been asking for my money back for months now after I realized nobody is working on my website. Absolutely Terrible service, they blocked me from calling all their offices and nobody responds to my emails. Don’t use this company. The absolute worst! This is embarrassing because it’s so long drawn out and I allowed these people continue to lie to me but I don’t want anyone to go through this with their products or services. Choose another company, don’t make the mistake of trusting this company.

SCAM! Absolutely Terrible Experience with Logomentary – Avoid at All Costs

My experience with Logomentary has been nothing short of a nightmare. While their initial design work for my logo and website was acceptable, everything beyond that has been riddled with frustration, deceit, and outright harassment.

After paying for their hosting services, I was bombarded with texts and calls pressuring me to spend thousands of dollars on unnecessary website features, claiming my site was “out of compliance.” These fear tactics were relentless and exhausting. I had to push back constantly just to avoid being coerced into services I didn’t need.

Then came the unauthorized charge. They took $1,500 out of my account for a service I did not approve. While they eventually reimbursed me, the situation was incredibly stressful and required persistent effort to resolve.

The final straw? I paid for three years of hosting in February 2024, only to be told in December that my hosting had expired. When I provided proof of payment, I was met with conflicting excuses: first, that my hosting had expired, and later, that a “cyberattack” had forced them to move my site to another server. They demanded an additional $1,000 to continue hosting. John acknowledged the discrepancies in their explanations, but continued insisting I had to pay and he wouldn’t reimburse me for the service I paid for and I’m not not getting. My website is also offline. This wasn’t just frustrating—it was a blatant violation of business contracts, showing complete disregard for professionalism and integrity.

Add to that the ongoing stress of dealing with their unprofessionalism and their ability to turn even the simplest interactions into a source of anxiety.

I cannot stress this enough: stay far, far away from Logomentary. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration and choose a company that operates with integrity.

Paid them to design a logo for me which was ok.
Paid them to write the website content but the writers were not fluent in English so I ended up writing much of the content myself and editing the website from the “backend” as they said I could do myself so I had to teach myself how to finished getting the website content after I paid them to do it.
And then they wanted $840USD so I could have the rights to post the logo on my FB and Google Ad.
Paid them for 1yr of website hosting and they provided about 9months of hosting and then the website became inaccessible without warning.
Stay away!

Amazing experience with this company for my website! I worked with Johnny who has been so wonderful to work with. I highly recommend him and I would hire him myself! I appreciate everything they have done for me and are still doing for me. Their patience with changes and improvements is pleasant to deal with as opposed to pushy companies still calling me. Johnny was absolutely great to work with! He was very quick to respond, helpful, and extremely nice! The logo is amazing. They gave me multiple designs to choose from. I would highly recommend working with Johnny. awesome job with my vision and turned it into my brand logo.

SCAM!! Stay away and carefully read the low ratings for your own protection! Paid $175 for a logo design, the didn’t finish the work, and tried to get me to pay $900 for a “trademark” after I refused they said in order for me to own the logo that I PAID for they said ok if I didn’t want the trade mark to just pay $350 for them to “transfer ownership to me” I said those are false claims and they changed their story pretty quick when I asked for a refund after they said if I didn’t pay more I couldn’t use the logo due to copyrights issues. Stay away! Do not use, do not over pay! After reading the reviews I see this is something they do pretty often.
