If you're a fan of all things art, pop culture, and imaginative worlds brought to life, Gallery Nucleus deserves a visit whenever you're around the Alhambra area. They have a ton of events and exhibitions happening from time to time, collaborating from artists with various followings from all over the globe. Additionally, they also have their shop out in the front when you first step inside as well in case you're in the mood to expand or start a collection of talented artistry. Walking inwards, they have usually have three separate galleries split into the main open space out on the first floor, the stairway gallery, and the upstairs display where from there, you can oversee through their window down towards the entirety of Nucleus.

Be sure to check out their website for any ongoing or upcoming celebrations as well since they usually decorate their interiors to match a certain theme.

Neat place to visit for their rotating gallery. It's a gem of a gallery, and the best part is experiencing the exhibits for free. There are paid events and their selection of art books is of great quality. It's definitely worth supporting the people who make this place work.

Nucleus is a hybrid of art gallery and indie bookstore. The selection of books is as quaint as it is unique (many are self-published books) and the art gallery in the back has a fantastic selection of rotating artists that changes once about every month or so. Parking is easily found behind the Sprouts nearby and the prices for the books is beyond reasonable (they also have comic books, and anime and video game art books, a really complete selection!). The ambiance is nice and the one clerk was, at all times, helpful while letting people mind their own business and peruse the materials. Truly a 5/5 experience!

Such a fantastic place. The Dana Terrace exhibition was amazing, so cool to see all of these pieces and very inspiring for me as an artist. I loved the gift shop as well, they had such a great variety of books, prints, etc. Stuff you usually never find in person!

I really hope more places like this start to pop up. I don't live in LA, it was a bucket list thing to come to Gallery Nucleus. I hope that there's some place like this in NYC. If not, I'm glad to create it someday.

Lovely small gallery with great events! The store was especially great with lots of zines and graphic novels that are hard to come by. There are prints to purchase that are printed on demand as well.

Absolutely love this gallery. It’s an intersection of commercial-made art for studio work (think video games and anime) and those artist’s personal pieces made for critical mass consumers to enjoy. Be prepared to open your wallet for any number of Art Books, prints, pins, and other art related goods. I spent about $200 and pretty satisfied with my pieces.

Note that there are products here that you can save a few bucks from by ordering off Amazon, but please support the gallery if you can since admission is free.

Nucleus is an art gallery that caters to more modern artists in the genre of pop culture, anime, and local flavor artists.
A nice, clean esthetic that provides a wonderful space to display the art. There are two stories. Enough room to display many different artists, which switch out on a regular basis.
There are also meet and greets as well as signings. Depending on the artists, the crowds show up to meet people they admire.
Great place to peruse and buy art.

So I knew about this place from a previous art exhibition that they had a few months ago but went down today as they had a another hour exhibition I wanted to check out.

Very friendly staff and quiet place has a very big open art gallery where you can observe and take pictures and in one case interact with one of the pieces of arts that they had.

I will say both times I've gone I've been rather happy with their presentation and the way everything is on display and they also have a number of art prints available to buy from various shows of the past as well as local artists and talents.

Would recommend checking what the current exhibition is and checking it out if you are interested and definitely looking online to see if they have any art pieces you can get in person.
