Myself and five friends celebrated a birthday doing a Tree Swipe class. The teacher was clear, patient, encouraging, talented, and accommodating. It was so much fun and interesting to see our creations take shape. We will all be back!

Once Upon a Canvas has new members, new art and new energy.

Basically, the shop on Benicia's main street has opened up the space for more classes, added art and artists, and rearranged everything to better feature painters and photographers through a dynamic grouping of images and colors.

New to scene is Caroline Patrick BorNei, a Benicia favorite teacher/artist/Feng Shui master, and artist/world traveller and Dianne Levy, whose history in Benicia harks back to when her sea captain great-great-grandfather opened Webb's lines to Australia from Benicia during the 1800s.

This is a quaint studio and a fun place to stop and shop for art. The staff is very enthusiastic, helpful and welcoming. I see they also offer classes which I will have to try!
