Julian Price lake is a beautiful lake with trails and wilderness off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Family friendly area. Camping area is still closed post Helene, but looking forward to it being opened soon. I'm so glad I stumbled upon it on my last trip to the mountains. Treat yourself and don't miss it.

Beautiful lake. We were in the area to see fall colors and this place didn't disappoint us. The parking lot was very full but you can still find a space. There is a trail that starts on either side of this parking lot and loops around the lake. The trail is easy 2.3 miles loop all around the lake. You can do it easily in an hour, stopping for taking pictures. We saw a lot of people on the trail with little kids. There is another parking lot nearby if you don't find space there and also parking by the picnic area and camp ground. There is also boat rental and an amphitheatre near the rental place. The colors all around were gorgeous.

Unreal experience just off the Parkway. Very affordable to just go out and rent a canoe and drift along the lake, especially beautiful in the fall colors. Highly recommend.

This is a beautiful small lake to enjoy all year around. The views are amazing, the trails are clean and maintained well. Bring your own kayak/canoe or rent one there. Peaceful place to stroll around and get some mountain therapy.
