Rebel Rouser is a small shop but absolutely worth the visit if you're into Punk/Powerpop, Glam Rock, Garage/Psych, Rockabilly/R&B and classic era funk and soul. . .

The real draw is there fantastic, well organized 45 selection! They always have tons of European Glam Rock, Ye-Ye Girl and Garage PS45s as well as a lot of Punk and Powerpop. More fairly priced Imported 1960s/70s singles than you'll see anywhere I've been to in the US. Lots of obscurities. Also, well curated selections of garage, soul, rockabilly/R&B & funk 45s.

Always have a lot of new arrivals in the seemingly pretty hand selected LP offerings.

I haven’t lived in nyc since 2020, but I still think about this spot all the time. Truly one of the best record stores out there. I used to go pop by a couple times a week on my walk home and they always had something new on the shelves. Helpful dudes behind the counter. Thoughtful notes on the lp sleeves. And, most importantly, one of the very few record stores you’re gonna find fair prices on good stuff these days. Class.

This is my favorite record store ever. This place is a level above the other record stores I've seen when it comes to the constantly evolving available selection and impeccable organization of the records. I also love the atmosphere, unique illustrations and art in the store, as well as new and vintage musical memorabilia. I am a huge fan of Rebel Rouser and will be back many many times.
