We were so happy with our stay. My son had to have surgery at Stanford and the hotels close to Stanford are so expensive. Thankfully we found this hotel and it was only 20 minutes from the hospital. ||We stayed in a Queen/Queen suite and it was perfect for us. The beds were comfortable, the living room area was spacious and the kitchen worked out perfectly. We only stayed two nights, but I can see how someone could stay several weeks as it truly has everything needed for a nice stay. I absolutely LOVED the small dishwasher. There were so many cabinets throughout the room as well as shelves for storage. ||I was only able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast one morning and I will say it wasn't my favorite but it was okay. Breakfast ended at 9:30 am and I arrived around 8:50 am. Most of the items were already gone and they weren't restocking. So my suggestion is to get there earlier for the best options. ||I am a travel agent as well and will definitely recommend this hotel to my clients!

Location near public transportation, pool , weight room, breakfast variety was healthy, I felt free to do laundry, eat , and communicate well with different cultures. I think all it needed was a dance floor or live jazz band to make it a perfect 10 . So 9.7 with a 0.3 addiction to them when they add music to this vacation resort. Great job on how clean and professional every person was , very respectful customers, employees, and look so new. Handicap friendly environment.

This was the best Residence Inn I have stayed at yet. The rooms were clean and updated. The facilities were nice and well kept. The staff were super friendly and attentive. My only feedback would be that the breakfast could be improved a bit.

While the hotel is clean and in a good location, we were not happy with the pool.
The room was a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom setup. It was nice with a full kitchenette. They were quick about getting us sheets for the couch pull out.
But our real issue was the hot tub/ pool. There was so much chlorine in it that it bleached and ruined our swimsuits. Also, my daughters arm hair was stripped off. It was completely too much chlorine. When we complained about it, we got crickets. Haven't heard anything. Super dangerous situation.

When the parking lot is filled and people have to park way in the back and it is pouring rain, it would be nice if the back door was not locked, or there was at least a way to let guests in. I️ get the security issue (in San Carlos?) but thinking about the customer experience is nice too.

This is a strong four star hotel. Its strength is its five star staff, who go above and beyond to accommodate the guests. Special thanks to Nemo, Larry, Delise, and Patricia. They went above and beyond in a patient and professional manner to help us and make our stay a great one. ||We had a studio room and it was well-furnished, clean and comfortable. The cleaning staff services the rooms every other day and does a great job. If you see them in the hall they are friendly and helpful.||Breakfast was good with numerous choices. Fresh hardboiled eggs are offered, as well as fresh fruit and yogurt. I wish they had some whole wheat bread in addition to the English muffins and bagels. The coffee was very good.||I was glad that there was a well-equipped gym on site.||This hotel is in a good location to access all the amazing things that the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer. We have family in the area and have stayed in several hotels nearby. This is by far the best one and we look forward to returning.

This is a suite hotel. I stayed here a few times; the rooms are relatively large and comfortable. Better than average cleanliness for the area. The service has improved a bit over the years. The downtown San Carlos and the train station are a few blocks away.

Spacious room with a full kitchen. We had 2 queen beds and a couch. Best part was the shower. Great shower head with lots of water and pressure. Most hotels have water savers where it takes forever to wash the soap out of your hair.
