Travis the service manager was great. 5 stars for Travis. My car needed body work. He told me the average time they needed the car and dealt with the insurance company so I didn't have to do anything except drop it off and pick it up. Unfortunately the one thing that I didn't like was the owner of Rubio's couldn't even acknowledge me. O stars for Rubio. He saw me there a few times and could care less I was giving him my business. So on that note I will not be using his services in the future.

Terribly disappointed by my first, and only, visit to Rubios.

I Took my Suzuki V-Strom in for an inspection a few months ago based on a recommendation from a customer. I guess they don't like Suzukis, because they spent a very long time looking at a fully serviced bike with new tires, brakes, chain, etc. The owner himself rudely informs me that the bike failed for worn out front brakes, and tells me to put my glasses on and look at the brakes. I'm already wearing glasses. He briefly shines a dim flashlight on the caliper, says "that's metal on metal", and then jumps on my bike and pulls it out of the shop without listening to a word from me.

I took pictures of the brakes and went and talked to the lady at the desk. She called a mechanic and after some back and forth, the mechanic goes outside in the sunlight with the dim flashlight and spends several minutes looking at the brakes that are clearly visible in the daylight. He finally admits the brakes are fine and goes to redo the inspection, but surprise, "the machine is down right now" so they can't do the inspection after all.

What a waste of my time. It just doesn't make any sense, and now I just steer customers away from your business.

I strongly recommend AVOIDING Rubios, and instead visit any of the highly rated businesses that are within a few minutes of them in Eastport, Speonk, and Westhampton!
