with the exception of Rick Farell, the place sucks. It's beougie . . . and expensive. they have the nerve to call themselves a "non-profit" and want donations! Ha! they make plenty of money per class. they charge at least $20 a class and have plenty of writers in classes. imagine if every dance studio who charge their students a mere $10 a class, asked for donations? or any school , studio, store . . . you name it! that is just plain wrong. they are very cliquey and most of the writers, can write, i'll give them that . . . it's just they are so boring, whitebread, unexciting, yawn yawn yawn. i'll bet if Nabokov, or Thompson, or Keraouc were in one of their classes before they got famous, they'd have been shunned. because don't you know? SD writers Ink is all about being "safe." yep, safe alright, and boring as hell!
