What a cool little modern museum! It's free and only two rooms but I loved the brightly colored everything that was on display when we went. Super cool.

Great little local museum. Only had one exhibit open, but worth going to see.

This small but mighty contemporary art museum is a joy to behold. Tucked into the corner of Mission Plaza, in the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo, I find varied exhibitions that always open my mind. Though there are 2 galleries, the exterior of the building is covered by a wonder filled mural that's different around every bend and changes every 18 months or so. Admission is free, there's never a wait to get in, and exhibitions rotate regularly throughout the year.

Looked forward to go to this museum. The commercials showed beautiful art. I didn't realize it was only 2 rooms and the exhibits were minimal. I did appreciate that there was no charge to visit. We had wanted to go to children's museum but they wouldn't let us in without a child.

Sloma never misses! Exhibits are always thoughtfully curated, with the right amount of context given. Everything I've seen here makes me reflect and ask questions. Staff are always nice, and it's never crowded. The quick rotation of exhibits (I don't think there is a permanent collection) keeps me coming back. Exhibits are often relevant to the SLO area which is neat. There are three display spaces in the museum, which are typically used for collections from three different artists.

The Museum of Art has reopened. I was there on their reopening day. It was free, masks required and the front and back doors were open for ventilation. And it is very small so it’s easy to see everything in 10 minutes.

The theme was the ocean and it was interesting especially the water feature. The wooden pieces on the other side with posh undergarments were odd.

Good to support the arts and hopefully people will make a donation.

Small and easy to go through in about 15 to 20 minutes, even with some good thoughtful contemplation of the art on display. I was impressed by the eclecticism of the exhibits--the curator clearly has a point of view and sense of humor, and it shows in the thoughtfulness with which the exhibits have been chosen and put together. Really well done. Also a decent selection of what looked to be locally-made jewelry in the gift shop, which is an important metric to me. I'd definitely come again if I was passing through SLO a second time!

Excellent exhibition space in a location beside riverside trail. The exhibits on now are interesting. Particularly liked the multimedia meditation.
