I find the open space and running creek highly conducive to a great time getting more in tune with nature. Wildlife such as ducks, cranes, fish, and many varieties of birds can be quite entertaining. The trails are easy and accessible to all who wish to take a walk in refuge from the ever encroaching suburban subdivision hellscape and strip mall mentality that surrounds us. Peace and Light be with all.

Went there for the dog park on a Wednesday afternoon, which I got to have the entire space to myself and my dog.

Lots of trees and it is mostly grass. The fence is on the shorter side, so I would worry bigger dogs with good jumping skills can make it past the fence with ease. There are 2 small tables inside the dog park, and each table has 4 chairs that can seat up to 6 people total. A trash bin near by the tables as well for poop bags. I did not find doggo water fountains inside the dog park, but the bathroom is right outside the dog park area with a water fountain right next to it.

The rest of the park is also mostly grass with dedicated space for baseball/softball. Parking is a bit confusing since the lines designating the spots are mostly gone, making it challenging to identify if certain areas are parking spaces. Quite a few other people were using the park during my visit, either playing with their dogs, going to baseball practice, or riding their bike.

I did notice the children's playground is quite old given how sun bleached and cracked some paint/plastics are looking.

Overall it's a lovely space, and I do recommend people to bring their pups to play here.

Did not feel safe parking on the street near trail entrance to this park; seemed like we were being watched by some shady characters. My daughter is afraid of dogs so no way could I take her here - too many unleashed dogs running around and swimming in creek. I didn’t feel threatened by the few homeless around, just seemed to be an un-policed area.

Decent community park that has a fenced dog off leash area. However I constantly come across dog owners who are letting their dogs run freely. I never see anyone who works for the city here enforcing the rules. There is almost always a few vagrants as well. It has a nice bike path and walking trail that connects to other parts of Roseville. It could be a really nice clean park if it was properly maintained and patrolled.

I saw a very skittish blonde Chihuahua at around 6:00pm on Oct 5. It looked like it had been abandoned. I think it went into the more forested part of the park. I saw it by the dog park where the 2 walking paths meet. I stuck around but couldn't find it; it ran away from me as I started walking towards it but I while I was 250 ft away?

The happiest pups go to Saugstad Dog Park. Bring water! No water is provided in the park.

It's a large area for the dog run but there's no water and when I took my pup 3 big dogs came and 2 of them were musled which made me a little on edge with my less than a year queens healer. The park has 2 little playgrounds for kids but they are small and look like they need to be replaced.
