I was blessed enough to be able to attend all of the community fest art days from 2023-2024. They're such sweet people and will always have open arms. I have so much fun every time I go and do art with everyone. They always greet me with a smile and a happy word. I can't wait for the 2024-2025 season of the community art fest! If you feel like you want to try it, I would say go! I'm not the best when it comes to some art but oh my it is so fun to try it!

I was stumped on a gift to give to someone who is difficult to shop for. SAAG Gallery made it so easy for me to find the perfect gift! Actually, kind of difficult to narrow down the choices, but the artists on hand helped me to focus by asking thoughtful questions and guiding me around the beautiful gallery. In the end, I got a gift my friend loves...and 3 gifts for me! These local artists are awe-inspiring!

I was on my dream date. I was with a woman who makes it so that no matter where we go or what we do, I’m going to be completely twitterpated (We are both old enough to get references to Disney’s Bambi) by the end. On this occasion, we had some time to spend before dinner, so we took a walk around the shops near the restaurant. There were all the usual places - jewelry stores, fashionable clothing, restaurants, etc... Out of all that, the place that caught my eye was the Southern Arizona Arts Guild.
The window showed a number of paintings, prints and sculptures with a south western influence. “Do you want to go in?” asked the woman that I would follow anywhere. We went in and were greeted by a jovial man who offered to give us the spiel on the place. They feature local artists in all media. If these works are any example, Tucson has as much or more to offer the arts as Seattle. The variety of styles and media was impressive. Most of the pieces had southwestern themes, but each artist had a unique take.
I found a number of pieces that I would be happy to put up in my home. Don’t tell my date, but she admired a print and her birthday is coming up...

Great art work for sale by local artists. Very creative and quality work. Some of the best of what Southern Arizona offers is on display here. Prices are reasonable for the quality of art.
If you're looking for a local and unique gift, add SAAG to your short list.

This place is a fun stop to make. Lots of unique southwestern themed art with originals and prints. You could spend over $1000 here on a show piece or $10 on a small interesting print. They also teach classes and some of the artists work in the shop so you can talk to them about their art before buying.
