It was lovely walking through the Spanish Village Art Center which was near Balboa Park. The colourful floors were lovely to see, with some trees and benches dotted around. There were lots of little art shops to pop into, with different pottery and paintings. There was a little kiosk at the top with coffee and refreshments, and toilets available.

This is one of my favorite spots in San Diego and a must see when visiting. We come here every time we visit San Diego. You can have a great time here. Despite buying some local arts and crafts you can also book some private classes. They have kids courses and summer camps as well. My favorite places are the wood shop, the large pottery studio and the glass blowing studio.

Very very pretty buildings and outdoor scenery, but it's really "art village", all small stores sell artworks, so if you aren't into art, you won't find it interesting.

Stumbled across this village on our walk from the zoo to the park because colorful stones caught our eye. We spent a good amount of time looking through the studios and speaking to the artists. Definitely a cool place to check out and get some original art
