I am so grateful to work with Dani at Sphinx Design & Marketing. We were in need of an overhaul and branding for our site. She really took the time to get to know us and tease out branding elements for the up-leveling we were calling in. In my opinion, there is nothing better than feeling intuitively seen and heard when working on a project as personal and nuanced as an artist’s website. Frankly, I can’t imagine accomplishing what Dani of Sphinx Design & Marketing and I pulled off with anyone else. Her bold creativity harmonized beautifully with my own and she could adapt my changes fluidly and make adjustments quickly. Besides being thoroughly impressed by her technical and artistic acumen, Dani possesses a skill for coaching her clients through roadblocks easefully and playfully. When I lacked clarity or direction I noticed how gracefully she drew me back to the heart of why I matter and what to do about it.

Warning. I hired Danielle West of Sphinx Marketing to build me a website on the SquareSpace platform as per our contract. Midway through the project she insisted we change to Divi WordPress platform. The project took nine months to “complete”. When the money from the first order on my website went to the PayPal address of a woman in India instead of my own account it was revealed to me that Danielle did not build the website herself but outsourced the development of my website to a woman named Jasbir Kaur in India and a man named Farhan Nayer of Ventix Media in Pakistan without my knowledge. It has been one full year since I signed the contract with Danielle West. At the time of this writing I still don’t have a fully functioning website though have paid in full. The problems with the website are numerous. I will now have to hire a new web designer and developer to either completely start over or fix the numerous technical and design issues still standing on the website. I have never experienced anything like this, it has been an incredibly disheartening and disappointing waste of time, energy and money. I believe Danielle West and Sphinx Marketing should offer a full refund due to negligent business practices. I did not hire Jasbir Kaur and Farhan Nayer to build a very expensive website. Had I known about the 3rd party shadow web developers I never would have never signed a contract with Danielle West and Sphinx Marketing. Nowhere in her marketing materials does Danielle West say that 3rd party web developers will be building the websites. Please proceed with extreme caution and a lot of due diligence if you are considering hiring Danielle West and Sphinx Media. Please see attached photos for further reference.

I have had the good fortune of working with the team at Sphinx Design & Marketing on numerous projects and happily refer all of my creative clients to them for web work.

Having worked in the creative sector as a media creator for over two decades, I am sad to admit that many of the "enlightened" business owners are quite horrible to work with. Wolves in sheep's clothing. What they say behind people's backs, their methods to discredit and shame to avoid final payment, their business practices when not in front of their adoring fans...all really shameful.

Danielle West and her team at "Sphinx Design & Marketing" are thankfully quite the opposite. They are the REAL DEAL!!! Integrity speaks for itself, as does quality, value, compassion, empathy, creative wisdom...and genuine consideration of client needs. Absolute class act! Highly recommend!!!

What I love about their process: Customer and Design-centric. With each project I've worked on, the intake process has helped me sharpen and focus my intentions for my business. The gentle and genuine approach has literally helped shaped my businesses every time. This by itself is priceless.

Follow that with their flexibility with schedule and organic approach to development and design, their team of talented developers, their natural design sensibility...big win every time.

Example: I was convinced I wanted WordPress. We began development on that platform when halfway through the project, when it became clear that what I needed my site to do would be better achieved on another platform, the creative team at Sphinx implemented those changes free of charge. They even supplied a library of instructional videos so I could learn the new platform. And now that it's done...I'm SO HAPPY!!!

Next example: A year after my site launched I received a follow up call from the owner, yes THE OWNER, just checking in to make sure that my site was performing as we had hoped. It's that kind of follow through and genuine care that keeps me coming back.

My only complaint is this: I don't think they charge enough for what they bring to the table. I know it's a smaller operation, but the design genius, the network of developers (could care less what country the live in...they get the job done), the added value of literally everything they do...I really think they could justify charging more.

If you're looking for an up-level to your business, and you align with their declared values, you found the right spot.
