St. Mary's Cathedral

I can’t speak for the congregation, but the building is beautiful. We went during the day to see if the church was open, and it was. The architecture is absolutely incredible, but stained glass windows, marble pillars and multiple confessionals. If you have a chance, I would recommend stopping by to have a look and/or pray.

A homeless shelter? What better use of a house of God than the rest and comfort of the poor? Especially when they find no other welcome in our well-blessed community!

I'm a spiritual person, but do not believe that going to a building (church) brings you any closer to God than praying at home or in nature. I went to this beautiful place for a funeral, the event was sad, but the beauty in this building was extraordinary and the woman from the church who sang at the funeral actually had the voice of an angel. While I still don't feel like a building brings you closer to God, the beauty of the building and that angelic voice was very calming and memorizing.

Christmas Eve Mass was wonderful! The building & decorations were beautiful, the service & message within even more so. The whole experience was a special time with God & my family. Highly recommend!

Amazing Romanesque architecture. Relic of St Cloud (bone fragment, 5th century) displayed for veneration. Homily was good when we visited. Only has one single-person bathroom in the basement.

We meet here for MOPS. It’s the coolest old building. I could explore it forever if given the chance. STC MOPS of you want to join us (it’s a mama group, international). When not dealing with a pandemic we meet in person and have food!
