Insanely good. Great experience. Very helpful, plenty of patience (whatup reece), and final product, for what it was, unreal. Pc build was super clean, no issues whatsoever and they surely tested before delivery. From the moment I found their site, to 5090/9800x3d build completed/shipped was 8 business days. Bought for a family member, but in the future- I do intend on a build for myself and would go nowhere else.Thanks guys!

bought a gaming computer from this company and it’s been incredible so far! the customer support is super kind and patient; all of the parts are legitimate and they send the associated manuals for each one just so you know exactly what’s inside of your machine. and as is their reputation, the computer is VERY quiet. it only revs up during heavier gameplay — such as AAA games — but that’s to be expected and easily curbed by a pair of good headphones. the shipping and packaging of it, too, was very thorough. i’d definitely recommend buying from them if you’re in the market for a fantastic machine!

This company is simply amazing. I bought a gaming PC from them a little while back and had a crashing issue. While we are still working through what the issue is arising from, their support team have been following up with me time and time again to help get the issue of mine resolved. 5 stars regardless of my issue not being fixed as of writing this. The courtesy of their team and knowledge in the troubleshooting process is amazing.

A few years ago I was searching for a knowledgeable and talented custom PC maker who are great to work with and have great pricing. I was very happy to find Steiger Dynamics. They built a custom water-cooled Threadripper pro workstation for rendering and media production.

To get the machine ordered they were great to deal with throughout the process. I had done my research and been very impressed with SD. When I was asked to get three comp quotes from other PC companies, it was not surprising to find that they easily came out on top. I was able to get the exact rock-solid and performant machine I specified with the lowest pricing.

When the machine arrived it was immediately clear that UPS had dropped the box and it turned out that the machine had been damaged. It was a rare and unfortunate incident that did take a long time to get sorted out. In the mean-time Steiger Dynamics built a whole new replacement machine. Steiger Dynamics was always professional and easy to work with in difficult circumstances. I ended up with the rock-solid machine I ordered. We are about to order 4 new custom Rackmount servers for our studio. I highly recommend Steiger Dynamics for all your custom PC making needs.

I hardly ever post reviews but I’m making an exception for my new workstation that I had built for me by Steiger Dynamics because I had such a positive experience. I needed a new computer for my 3D art and animation and after hearing the announcements about the new RTX 3090 and the new Ryzen 5950x I knew the time was right and searched online to get the best possible configuration for my budget. I didn’t want to build the computer myself as I’m a long time Mac user as well as being an “old guy” so the idea of making sure all the components played well together, ordering them and making sure I didn’t screw something up didn’t seem worth it. I was happy to pay an expert to avoid this headache. I never liked erector sets growing up either. I carefully researched for a couple of months, looking closely at several online sites that allowed you to build your own computer and chose the components from their list. The more I compared the more I began to realize that often the offerings for the components could be rather limited and could be sub-optimal at times. I did find one company in Washington State that had professional 3D workstation components but they too had limitations on what you could pick and they were very expensive overall despite their reputation as a good place for 3D artists to get a workstation built. Steiger certainly wasn’t the cheapest place but considering I got exactly what I wanted with my computer I got a much better deal. Also, their free shipping made it very competitive.

Once I found Steiger I was impressed by the range of choices, the quality of the parts and the willingness of the support staff to work with me to get the best machine possible for my budget. Having a very quiet computer was also important to me and they excelled at that due to the fact they seemed to mainly build high-end theater and related systems where the audio quality was critical. They didn’t necessarily know as much about what hardware might work with what rendering engine and such but that wasn’t a concern to me as I could do that sort of research myself.

I was able to get the exact computer I wanted as well as hearing their suggestions to what might be a better option. I must have tortured the support guy with 60 emails back and forth until we finally nailed everything down. Then we found out that all the RTX 3090 cards were sold out as well as the 5950x’s – I thought I would have to wait for a long time but only a couple of weeks later they had the parts and built the machine in no time and shipped it off to me.

I did have a problem with the shipping, where the box was damaged by Fed Ex and caused there to be dent in the Fractal Define7 case. They sent me a replacement right away. There was a couple of other fairly minor problems that came up and they responded right away and resolved those problems to my satisfaction.

I highly recommend Steiger. My only suggestion might be for them to offer a higher-end packing/shipping option – where a crate or something more substantial is used for the shipping container.

Ordered hardware through their Amazon storefront "Custom Hardware" that arrived *severely* damaged due to incredibly careless packaging. Customer service team was aggressive, sarcastic, and refused to take responsibility for the problem. Do not recommend.
