He is very friendly and willing to answer questions and shows interest in knowing you as well. The photo of him is in front of his favorite piece he has done and will be the cover art for a book of poems he will be publishing. Definitely should stop in. The artist here is perhaps one of the kindest men I have ever met, his charm and generosity radiates off both him and his artwork. If I am ever in the area the first thing on my mind would be to return to his gallery and see what other pieces he has created! The best experience I've ever had in an art gallery, hands down. Please visit if you are anywhere nearby

You can't visit Strickland Art Gallery and leave without a smile. The artwork, and the artist William, are so full of color and cheer that they just brighten everything. The paintings of farmhouses, country scenes, flowers, and even contemporary abstracts are in colors that exude happiness.

This is such a beautiful gallery. It's filled with so much color and heart. William and Jim are always eager to help and share stories. I love every piece of art I've gotten from there.
