Edgy contemporary art gallery with impressive roster of shows. Situated a bit out of the way in China Town but DEFO worth the trek out (there are loads of other cool independent galleries in the hood so you can make a day of it).

The entrance is pretty much disguised as an entrance to a random non gallery building so look out for that.

Small gallery space started by Shepard Fairey (and someone else?). I've been to two exhibits and have not been disappointed. I believe their goal is to have multi use space where artists can use their voice and where anyone can admire the art (it's free to enter). I love and support the values of Shepard Fairey which include equality, transparency, and humor. Check the space out! Obey.
