Disappointed. I had taken several classes in the past but it has been years and I decided to start taking classes again. I was going to sign up for a few but after sending emails which have not been responded to, I won’t be. I don’t like the idea that this how they totally disregard their students who at the end of the day are paying customers.

Edit: their small team responds to public Google reviews within a day but not email inquiries even weeks later and posting they take 3 days…. This is exactly why I posted a review!!!! Thank you for responding to this, I guess.

I took an embroidery class here and SO pleased with this place. The course was over two days in the evening. We went beyond the standard stitches and started on our projects. The instructor helped us navigate some common embroidery pitfalls and gave us suggestions for future projects. The space was quiet and everyone was busy working on their own projects- from looming, fabric dying and sewing.

The Textile Arts Center is an amazing place! My daughter took classes there for years and loved the projects and teachers. They supported my community art project with fabric donations, use of the studio and invaluable advice. The gallery and artists in residence consistently showcase incredibly inventive and meticulously-crafted work. I'm grateful to have a space like TAC in our neighborhood, that's both generous to the greater community and dedicated to nurturing beautiful and meaningful art.
