Beautiful hotel and restaurant!
Good breakfast and fantastic service.
I had a simple 2 egg and sausage breakfast. The eggs were perfectly cooked to my order. The sausage patty was great! A little pan fried crispiness on the outside and good ol'meaty goodness throughout. The potatoes were plentiful, but they weren't exceptional.
A nice quiet environment in the morning to read a book or have some one on one time without the hustle and business of typical chain restaurants.

Thanks for breakfast guys!

I posted a rather mediocre review some time ago, but we just finished a fabulous dinner there tonight with friends. Although we sent one dish back to be heated up, everyone was delighted with their food. Apparently, their slow cooked prime rib on Fridays is extremely popular. My salmon was fabulous, not over cooked. The bistro rice dish had corn and green onions in it. Delicious. I also had half a wedge salad, which was also good. Not too much dressing.

Not only a beautiful bar but great service. This is a fantastic restaurant inside the Murieta Spa and Inn. Had the filet for dinner. Very good. The jus was a bit different than I’m used to. But tasty nonetheless.

The western bacon burger was AMAZING. I do order the pork on the side cause it's too meaty for me. I'll mix the pork with bbq sauce at home and make a second sandwich for the next day. Make sure to ask for ranch too!

Missing some of the usual local favorite dishes, as they continue to change the menu. But continue to receive great service, nice local wine selection and a well rounded menu.

Poor service. Called several times revalued if not being able to make online reservation. Staff said “We will check with our manager and call you back.” Both times. Never did call us back. Server took our order but didn’t give it to the chef for a hour. Came and asked us after a hour if we wanted our check when we had never gotten any food. They brought out my food and didn’t bring my husbands. He had 3 pancakes that’s it and it took another 20 minutes to bring those out! Pricey… food was Dennys quality with smaller portions for triple the price.

Staying at hotel one night for fiance to take a 3 hour entrance exam for the Operating Engineers Journeyman Apprenticeship Training Center (located less than half a mile from the Murrieta Inn & Spa) at 7:30 am the following morning.
Even though the hotel it's self was a splurge, I felt he deserved an easy morning on testing day. Being the ever thoughtful gentleman that he is requested I permit him to treat me to dinner at the hotel's restaurant. I've had my fair share of hotel stays encompassing the entire spectrum of quality and type as well as having worked in fine dining during my 20s in Tucson AZ. Although we started our visit less than an hour before closing on a Monday night, THIS WAS BY FAR ONE OF THE TOP 3 BEST TASTING MEALS I HAVE EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF DINING UPON. Both our meals (his: the filet, farm fresh veggies and mashed potatoes; mine: the salmon, same veggies and crispy fingerling potatoes) were delightful, though his filet was far closer to well done than the medium well he'd asked for as it was cooked light brown all the way through and had NO pink with the exception of about one square inch on a thicker edge. It was still delicious, tender and every last morsel was savored. He, the ever picky eater (special orders everything plain as possible even at fast food places) and I with my minimal appetite, and spoiled by my years in fine dining, BOTH FINISHED EVERY LAST BITE ON OUR PLATES.

COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF. EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS.
