My husband and I went to the Sunday class
with live model. That was a great experience! Claire is a wonderful teacher who really knows how to transfer her drawing skills.
She explained us how to work the body using shade techniques. We loved it so much that we took a second class.
My third experience was for a paint and sip class. She gave us a drawing and we put color on. I was so pleased with the result that I framed it and hung it in my outdoor patio!
Cherry on the cake, classes are very affordable!

It has been my good fortune meeting Claire at her grand opening of The Side Street Art Studio-San Clemente in September 2022. I was one of those people who most of their life said "I want to paint & create ...someday". Claire's artistic & teaching talents have made me a regular weekly student ever since. I'm learning so much about oil painting and having so much fun creating at Claire's classes! My new favorite times of the day are walking from my car to the art studio thinking about what I'm about to do, and walking from the studio to my car celebrating what I have just done.

The Side Street Art Stdio is great!! Claire is a wonderful instructor - nice, patient and professional. I started as beginner and she’s helped me tremendously with my drawing and painting skills. The studio is beautiful and has a relaxed, friendly vibe. Her adorable, sweet dog Oscar quietly watches us paint!! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to learn new skills or improve existing techniques!! And she does fun paint & sips too!!

Claire has a lovely studio. She has all the supplies you will need. It is bright and light. She is from France, so French music playing. Couldn't be a better place to paint if you need a studio to paint in or if you're a beginner. I love it!!!!

This studio is all we could ask for. Claire is a very good teacher. She studied art in Paris and it really shows! She is knowledgeable about art, mixing colors, and she guides students through the painting process. She is very friendly and professional, my daughter loves going to her classes.

I have been taking classes weekly from Claire since January. If you want to learn how to draw and oil paint while having fun doing so this is a great place to do so. She is very patient and as long as you follow her instructions you can’t fail no matter your skill level. I would highly recommend this studio. All of the other students are very welcoming and non judgmental.

I attended a Paint and Sip event with Claire at Side Street Art Studio and it was fabulous. Claire is a wonderful teacher, patient, helpful, and kind.
