My company spent over £40k with Plug & Play to help with the design and front-end coding of our updated website. As a web programmer myself, I played a significant role in putting together the ideas, designs and layouts, and worked closely with their team to create the site. One year later, I have found that they rehashed significant parts of our website code and sold it on to a direct competitor. Despite documented emails from P&P at the time specifically stating we would own the website intellectual property, they now argue that they can sell the code to whoever they want. I am utterly disappointed in the behaviour and ethics of this company. The trust and investment I put into P&P is now damaging our company because ideas and unique parts of our website are in the hands of a direct competitor. I would avoid this company at all costs as they appear to put their own financial gain above any form of client ethics with complete disregard for the impact it has on their clients.
