I have finally taken an action against The Website Designs. I had contracted with them for the e-commerce website in Q2 2023. Nothing but a dummy page was delivered and they kept asking for more money. So, I ended paying $10,400 for a dummy website and they were kept saying more issues and asking for more money. that's when I realized something was not right. I asked for total refund, they were reluctant as beginning, I kept escalating the issue then they gave me a payment plan which would take 3 months for the refund. However, the half of the amount was never refunded to me, lots of excuses for the delay, no one answered my phone call, sick leave, family emergency...all excuses. Earlier this year, they said they were on an merchant audit, then came up another refund payment plan to refund me $1000 every month starting with April 2024. And I still got nothing. Today I took action to report them to Federal Trade Commission for a business fraud, I am also reporting to San Francisco Police Department. Hopefully, you are not a victim like me.

Awesome web site design company at a great price! Its a flat rate, and they work with the client until they are 100% happy. I very much loved my designer Manuel. He had excellent bedside manner, and listened to all my suggestions, big and small. He had a great eye and could guide me easily. I am a seasoned Designer, and very picky! Great website builders and they can make your vision come to light. However, it took over a month to get our website done which is longer then the time it was promised. This company is a scam. They charged us nearly $2k with a promise that they would custom design us a website. But instead they purchased a template from another site for $80 that wasn't anything close to what we wanted. They have been promising to refund me but I've waited MONTHS for a refund, and all they have are excuses. Do not ever do business with these people. They are scammers and they will not do the job they promise to do.
