I recently completed the Professional Diploma in UX Design with the UX Design Institute and I have had such a great experience. Everything about the entire experience was nothing short of fantastic. The learning platform is easy to navigate (no surprises there really), the content is engaging and well thought through. I particularly liked the fact that most of the learning is via videos - so it feels like you’re not alone, even though you are learning remotely. Having a slack community is also super beneficial and knowing the UXDI team are on hand to answer questions was also really beneficial. I’ve already landed a UX job, and have already started worked in the field! I cannot thank the UXDI team enough for such a refreshing, positive and enjoyable experience.

Ironically, I had a terrible customer experience with them. I applied for a UX course via Springboard a few months ago. Near the application deadline, they informed all applicants that due to technical difficulties, everyone needed to reapply, and the start date would be pushed back. This happened again, resulting in nearly a month of delays.

Then, on the very last day—just one day before the new start date—I received a generic rejection email stating that my application was unsuccessful due to the high number of candidates. This decision, made at the last minute after already delaying the start date, felt extremely inconsiderate.

This entire experience makes me question their understanding of what good user experience truly means and whether they practice what they preach in their courses.

I wanted to be able to get knowledge and training in the field of UX and the UX design institute gave me the chance to do it at an affordable price. Compared to all bootcamps and others I came across with, it was by far, the option that seemed to be the best--quality of teaching and learning and pricing included. And looking back, I confirm it was a great decision: the videos of the lessons are incredibly clear, not boring, to the point and concrete. The Slack platform is extremely handy to keep track of things, deadlines, and get in touch. The staff is responsive and quick to help; I was never left in the dark and always got responses to my queries. The assignments are doable and attainable, as well as grounded in actual UX design professional practices. You also make the best of tutoring for portfolio building and career advice. I am 100% happy with all that they provided.
