Signed up my team for a 3 hour blacksmith class and everyone had a blast. Wyatt and Charlie were fantastic! Wyatt was very helpful in setting up the reservation as well as helping out as Charlie the instructor taught us how to make our very own bottle opener or wall hook. They made the class very easy to understand and we all felt a little nervous at first but the moment we started pounding the hot metal with our hammers we were all having a great time.

There is ample parking in the back of the building but you have to enter from a smaller street than their address location so be sure to check the map.

There are also coffee shops and cafes to grab coffee and food before or after.

The studio itself was very clean and they provided water and there is a bathroom.

Definitely will be going back again.

I took a 3 hr class on intro to welding, with Wyatt, and it was great! Overall, I recommend it to anyone, and may sign up for a bigger separate membership myself.
I guess the class had 6 people signed up but there were only 3 of us who attended. Wyatt first went though some basics like how to use an angle grinder to cut metal, then about welders so we understood what was happening and then how to use a welder to attach metal. That way when when we leave we would be able to do basic fabrication ourselves.
We then were able to try out a 120V fluxcore welder, a 120V MIG, and a 240V MIG welder. We learned about TIG and Stick welders. I didn't need to bring anything since they had the necessary safety gear. I would recommend an older long sleeve shirt or something and closed toed shoes though since the welders can sometimes spit slag a few inches (not a lot but enough to feel it occasionally). Wyatt was a great instructor, with a great understanding, and a relaxed approachable attitude. The studio itself felt like a good working space.
Like I said, bottom line I recommend it!

My team came to Visual Philosophy for a team-building offsite. We did blacksmithing and screen printing. It was fantastic! Everyone had so much fun and really bonded over making things together. We got to take home the things we made from the blacksmith and screen printing. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and it was easy to organize. Thank you! I hope we can bring the team again.
