Wegmans

Wegmans is just a class act super grocery store. The store was a little congested in a few spaces, lots of empty shelving in a couple areas. I was quite surprised at the amount of Buffalo Bills gear/apparel being sold here. Not being a Buffalo fan myself, I was quite disturbed to see such a large dedicated space for the "somewhat" local football team. Haha Go Dolphins!!

I love Wegmans! They have some things always lower priced than other places without a sale. They have hard to find items . Produce is the best ! They have very fresh fish and seafood . The meats are high quality . Coming from Rochester NY Wegmans has been there forever.

Clean, lots of choice, easy parking, efficient checkout and friendly staff. I also appreciated their readymade and custom meals offerings to take back to our nearby Hilton hotel. I wish we had a supermarket like this near our home in the Catskills.

Store is getting more consistent with having all products in stock. However, they need to quit moving items to different locations. It's frustrating when a quick trip turns into a "scavenger hunt" waisting time going through most of the store for what was a "quick stop"!!!

Desperate for a latte, I duck into Wegmans to grab one...long line to cash out...ho hum...then swooping in like a beautiful, melodic, bluebird, Emily approaches me. "Just cashing out the coffee?" She asks. "Well yes, yes I am." Emily whisks me away to an empty register and just a few minutes later I sit, sipping my latte, reminiscing about my excellent customer service experience. Thanks Emily!!

Pretty neat and orderly...brimming with stuff to buy! Usually pretty busy whenever I go, but I have never witnessed it overly crowded. Never had a bad experience but I have also never had any positive experiences here either. You can put stickers from the scales directly on the bag to expedite the checkout, best part!

Excellent Grocery store and more. Best one between Corning and Watkins Glen. They have a large Gluten Free section that is multiples what most stores have. Each department is well stocked and nicely marketed. There are several "Family Pack" aisles with bulk packed items offering good discounts. My only disappointment is that they don't have a house mad deli salad department offering things like spinach dip or macaroni salads. They also have a Market Cafe for in-store or take out dining. From salads to full meals. I was thrilled to see multiple GF Asian dishes that were delicious. The space is big enough to handle a bus of tourists coming in at once. Which is what happened when we were there. If you are traveling from out of town, mention it to your cashier and she'll use a guest card so you get the current discounts. It's a great service.

Huge shoutout to Austin in the cheese section! For a late Mother’s Day, we decided to take our cheese-loving mom to Wegman’s to try a bunch of rare, unique, and just plain weird cheeses. Austin was SO helpful and enthusiastic and we’re so grateful he took the time to nerd out with us, share his knowledge and experience, and make some awesome suggestions. We had as much fun learning from him as we did trying them all when we got home. Thanks for making our late Mother’s Day extra fun, Austin!
